Booked euro tunnel this weekend for March 2016, apartment booked and hotels either side booked, so excited already, any one else want to join in :)

love the pix. I have the best pic from last year of DH and I on a chair lift but the pic is of our shadow on the mountain waving at ourselves. Keep meaning to print it....

St Anton, love - I got bored of waiting for the price to go down so asked them if they would reduce it for me to feel I was getting a bargain so they knocked £330 per head off for me! Feeling spoiled.

Ooh lots of lovely fluffy snowy pictures! 2.5 SLEEPS!!!!! (We are leaving at 1.30 Friday morning)..

Beyond excited now, I might ACTUALLY wee myself.

A bit grumpy though, as I am due the worlds worst period, bang smack in the middle of my holiday, AND my ski trousers are white (if I can still get in them eek)

Loving the look of park city, some friends went there at Easter a coupe of years ago, and there was no snow! At all! They were gutted.
It's one of DHs dream destinations, along with Jackson Hole and Alaska.

yes eldest has had about 10 ski holidays now. Two youngest have been twice and last year were telling me to hurry up so I'm probably going to be left behind (but first to the bar) Grin

Well it's absolutely miserable here in Morillon. It's pouring with rain which is washing all the snow off the lower slopes. We've just bought the kids goretex gloves as their supposedly waterproof ones were absolutely soaking through. Most of the lifts were shut today due to high winds.

We're still enjoying the skiing though, making the most of it.

Oh yikes tricky, that doesn't sound too good! Hope the rain turns back to snow again ASAP for you, how much longer are you out there?

I think we might end up either hiring a board for DH or bullying nicely asking our friend to take it in his car, they usually drop one of their seats to get their boards and skis in.

DS1 (9) is also learning to board this week, allbeit being taught by DH, we will see how long they last before they kill each other!

Iamblossom - where are you off to? We are heading to puy, watching the night skiing on the webcam right now!

Oh... And I'm packed! Yippee! Just got food to sort, house to clean, chickens to clean and sort, pet food to buy... The list is still endless lol

Squee too excited! DH is busy scoping out google street view for directions, he drives me bonkers. He once spent an entire evening street viewing Euston station so he would know where to go to get the tube after getting off the train Hmm

I love the chairlift photos. I'm always too scared to risk moving on a lift, let alone taking off gloves and finding my phone...........we usually go in jamuary when it's too cold to be without gloves on a lift.

I'll have to be more organised. Hand my poles to DH, have thin gloves on ready and phone unlocked.....

Hope the temperature dips and snow resumes normal service for all those out there and going soon.

Much I wear a pair of these gloves with cheap decathlon liners (touch screen friendly, natch) and they make chairlift selfies really easy. DH thought they were a gimmick when I bought them at the ski show, but the gloves with zip off fronts are amazing. I can't rate them highly enough.
