What’s going on with the weird MNHQ bumbling?

A couple of threads have been bumped by MNHQ specifically @FlissMumsnetor whatever the naming convention is. It’s early on, contentious and therefore clickbaity stuff.

Is this a new thing? It’s weird and frankly seems manipulative. Are MNHQ at least checking if these bumped threads are legit posters, because one seemed very suss.

FFS can you change the title to BUMPING.

Noticed that too on an AIBU that was minutes old. Long post too so anyone wanting to reply was possibly still reading it before it was needlessly bumped by @FlissMumsnet

I saw a thread in S&B being bumped the other day. It used to be a frequent thing back in the day. I guess footfall is down.

Is @FlissMumsnet ACTUALLY Mumsnet HQ or just a username? Just curious as if MNHQ is bumping posts then it would be good to know why/ what the decision is based on...?

I assume its because mn is seeing reduced traffic and they are trying to encourage more posts.

If people want to reply they will, the sites hardly exceedingly busy it's not like people will miss the newer threads.
