Ah so you are trying to simultaneously shut down conversation whilst calling others ignorant.

Got it.

One of OP’s first posts included:

to be honest, I don't know as much about this subject as I'd like to

I don’t know why they created the thread. From the get-go it was pure aggression and insinuates prejudice.

Anyway, if I’m trying to shut down the conversation please feel free to report and my posts will be removed if they break guidelines. That doesn’t bother me.

I keep responding as posters keep quoting me. You don’t have to keep quoting me asking for a response if you feel like I am shutting down conversations.

Open up your closed mind

says the person trying to stop people talking

👍👍👍

Carrying on talking, I don’t care what people say.

But surely you knew starting this thread wouldn’t have been very productive.

Anyway. Have a great day. My lunch break is over. Please stop quoting me and I will leave you be, as carrying on quoting me is just an invitation for me to keep responding.

The fact that I admitted I’d like to find out more about this subject means it’s ok for you to call me names because….?

you’re really going to have to help me out here

What is wrong with someone posting

to be honest, I don't know as much about this subject as I'd like to

Shows a openness to discussion and other ideas.

As opposed to calling someone pork for wanting to discuss those ideas.

I don't think you are breaking guidelines. I do think you are trying to stop people from discussing these issues.

Cross post Bernard .

Would love to know FissyPaps thinking on this.

But we are interested in your opinion and why you think we shouldn't talk about certain things.

This thread has been incredibly productive

  1. it’s amply demonstrated the closing down women face when they try to talk about problems they face that are politically unpalatable

  2. it’s ensured MNHQ allowed a conversation to happen elsewhere which has been really useful

you started the thread not knowing the facts and making prejudiced assumptions and it led to you name calling and generally behaving badly

This old thread seems apt as without mentioning another one today it does seem they are easily deleted.

Georgyporky · 28/11/2022 18:36 - Unfortunately, there are plenty of men of ancient British lineage who still think women are lesser people. Despite legislation, women are still discriminated against - no matter the colour/religion/nationality of either the female or the male.

Absolutely true, but irrelevant to this discussion. Yes, men of all cultures can harm women.

But this thread is about the much increased risk to women caused by large numbers of men arriving from cultures in which women have low status and therefore violence against women is much more common.

The risk is increased for two reasons. (1) There is a sudden influx of men, mainly young/ish and without families to moderate their behaviour. (2) They are more likely than the average UK man to harass or attack women because that is more acceptable in their home culture.

How anyone can claim this isn't a feminist issue is beyond me.
