I'm bloody proud to be anti-racist! I will wear that badge and wave that flag until the end of days. The fact that you've thrown out 'anti-racist warrior' as a supposed insult is hilarious – you have absolutely shown your true colours now.

I'm out. There's no point arguing with small minds and bigots.

Glad you spotted that!

As though calling someone anti-racist is an insult…😂😂😂

Algeria is not part of the Middle East. Algeria is North African, which has a very different culture to other countries of the Middle East…

It depends on whether you view the Middle East as purely a geographical location or whether you view it on aligned political views of arab countries.

I'm using the latter definition which is also widely used globally.

This thread just proves that we cannot explore or name the problems because we get called racist. When you put 100 men into a hotel with no work you are going to get problems. The hotel near me is now a no go area. It’s not safe for a woman or girl to walk past it because they will get cat called, followed, etc etc.

but let’s just shut women down because we know it’s not all men, it’s not all cultures, white Men are as bad, Jimmy saville , all the Arab men I know are respectful, not all men are The same blah blah blah. So if it’s not the men we all know who is it exactly because it isn’t women.

You can’t educate someone who is so set in their beliefs that anything you say will not alter their mindset.

Hope that clarifies.

All of the men I know who come from the Middle East treat women with respect.

So - Not All Men Are Like That -just as I thought.

It is just like not all Trans women are like that. A sacred caste that we are bigoted for even acknowledging the existence of.

So yes not all Arab men treat women badly.. But we can't talk about the fact that migrant men have done so in France (huge problem for decades which I have first hand experience of ) and Germany (see Cologne and the media not wanting to name it) because we are being racist in pointing this out even though the attacks on women in those areas are because of the fact that these men have been raised to treat women as lesser women due to the culture of the regions they have migrated from?

CarefreeMe · 28/11/2022 23:22

Do you have concerns about the large numbers of HK nationals arriving on our shores?

No

Yet women in Hong Kong also suffer DV, SA and raped by the hands of the men from
Hong Kong.

No matter how much you try and deny it, misogyny is inherent in many men (not all men but a very large proportion).

lifeturnsonadime · 28/11/2022 23:22

No but picking and choosing which countries you find to be the problem is a bit hypocritical…

I was using the country as an example of the hypocrisy which I stand by.

Google is free you know.

I answered up thread. “You can’t educate pork” is a saying when somebody won’t listen to reason. That’s it. Nothing more to it. Continue ….

lifeturnsonadime · 28/11/2022 23:25

It takes time for countries to develop their human rights.

So in the meantimes incidents like the one in Cologne can happen but we can't talk about it because it's racist?

Oh I forgot where I said that. Please can you direct me to it?

Or, again, someone kept harping on about “Quatar” and I was responding to that 🙄

Is this a pearls before swine Bible thumping allusion?

Or is this we have the word pork in English because of Norman immigrants teaching us French back in the day (porc is French for pig).

I actually know the definition of racist though ….. You do not. Evidently.
