Does MNHQ Check Our Inboxes?

Just wondering. I received a private message and sent 2 replies and now the recipient has received a message from MNHQ saying the replies were removed at my request. Except that's not true, I made no such request.

Whoever is behind the other site, have they not considered that spamming members here with unwanted PMs (or even 3) might put people off from joining?

They spammed the boards loads too. I get they are excited about having coloured text and like buttons to play with but spamming MN is a bit playground.

Begging who? Is there some kind of Kim Yong-un equivalent ruling the roost at MNHQ we weren't aware of?

You might like to rethink that comment, what with North Korea being a horribly repressive regime and all that? People starving to death, people being shot for raising the wrong eyebrow, etc.

I’ve just been reading someone over there (with Dawn French’s face) explaining to the other refuseniks that they recognise me as an evil cyber stalking genius with an overestimation of my own tech skills (I have none ). The impressive bit is she has managed to recognise me as that person without coming over here and reading the thread 😂

I think we’re now at the point where it’s best just to hit the absinthe and stop trying to follow any of the actual facts 😂🤣

I understand that it wasn't Hebe reference. I still dont think that making jokes about North Korea is particularly tasteful, by either Hebe or the PP. If someone make a 'joke' about Belsen it's not going to go down well is it?

I have a pretty dark sense of humour tbh. But I dont really find N Korea particularly funny (apart, perhaps, from the 5 mens hairstyles they are apparently allowed).

The whole thing is just ludicrous. I am agog though 👀 and thoroughly enjoying all the drama. Being kind I think it's probably a good distraction from all the scary CV stuff and that's why people are so immersed in it all, to take their mind of how difficult things are. It's certainly providing an amusing diversion for me!

(saying lol instead of a smile as the last emoji I posted apparently got a little bit cocky and started eyeing posters up funny. I told it to pack it in but I can't guarantee that it won't do it again so a lol will have to suffice.

Oops just realised my previous post before that had an emoji too.
