Browsing mumsnet using the chrome browser on an android phone.

Opened a thread "www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/2729635-Im-being-watched-WATCHED" on an "open in new tab" but the new tab opened with a spam advert page of the kind that tries to make you not navigate away. I presume this is an unintended hijack of some kind.

I copied the content of the navigation field in case it is of use to you but it seems to be gibberish.

This seems to happen quite regularly - what kind of info will help you to stop it?

Several times for me too with different browsers.

Oh and no other sites affected

Had a beautiful samsung 7 edge delivered today. The first time i tried to get into mumsnet i got the dreaded message. I wasnt even logged in yet.

I'm getting it several times a day when I visit Mumsnet using Chrome on my Android phone. I've switched to using Adblocker browser - I appreciate that sites need adverts to make money, but if your advertising provider can't promptly weed out malicious adverts which are an inconvenience at best, and compromising my device's security at worst...

Just had it too, on android chrome, same as yesterday and only on mumsnet.

Had this this morning but not from MN. I've now installed the Opera browser (comes with an ad blocker) on my Android and uninstalled Chrome.

Just popping up to say I have had it a couple of times now through links I have clicked on facebook (reasonably trustworthy ones). Ironically the first time I came on to write this post another pop up stopped me!

I've just had one a few minutes ago. I've had it a few times in the last week and also had it a few months ago.

I can't navigate away from it and only get it on MN. I'll screen shot it next time.

I've got an xperia z2 using chrome and Virgin wifi.

I am getting this redirect on nearly every mumsnet link now.

I've just looked in my browser history and this is what it shows for the ad.

It happened when I clicked on this thread.

I've had this three times this morning. In in Aberdeenshire using an Xperia Z5. It's also happened whilst I was visiting family in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
