It's well known that the most common reason for men to transition is autogynephilia, this is just fact. Autogynephilia is unheard of in women so we're being asked to believe that an exclusively male characteristic is what makes these men women (I think that's called irony, sometimes it even makes me laugh)

Nobody here has made any judgment about autogynephilic transsexuals, deleting those comments seems a bit autogynephobic to me, blatant erasure.
If it's something we're not allowed to talk about I'd like to know why.

If that is why those posts were deleted (and I can't see anything that is a personal attack or offensive in them), then I think we deserve to know.

I think the posts that were deleted could be read as implying that all transwomen are autogynephiles. I very much hope MNHQ isn't saying we can't discuss it at all, given that plenty of transwomen are completely open about it - that would be daft.

Autogynephilia is a real thing. It's a sexual fetish. It's a huge threat to women, particularly now as transactivists push for access to our:

• changing rooms
• shower rooms
• women's shelters
• toilets

and insist that we:

• capitulate to ever-increasing demands for 'inclusion'
• refer to them as women, erasing the reality of sexist oppression
• position ourselves as 'cis' oppressors

Male violence is a real thing, and women are being forced to participate in this porn-driven fetish. There is no evidence to suggest that men who "identify as women" are less likely to commit violence against women.

Autogynephilia needs talking about.

There's actually nothing wrong with autogynephilia as a thing; if there were more publicity about it, more men would recognise that that is what they have and they would not have to try and do the mental contortions required by transideology. They could just be out and proud autogynephiles and we could all celebrate their sexuality and honesty and they could have a float at LGBT pride.

There is when it's part of a sexual rights movement of powerful men in IT/government/law etc aimed at deconstructing language, erasing women's experience and replacing female reality with male fantasy. Women would do well to be vigilant and watch the policies pushed by these individuals.

vaw every story I've ever heard a parent of a "trans" child tell is rooted in gender stereotypes and homophobia. There was one guy who used his son's love of soccer as evidence that he was truly a girl, because in the US, soccer is more popular with women.

As a member of the trans community I want to reiterate that autogynephilia is still the elephant in the room.

It's poorly misunderstood, often misrepresented and is a valid topic for discussion. I don't particularly have the energy to discuss it TBH. But it should be allowed.
