MNHQ's recent forced log in trial has unleashed another tsunami of "user"s as so many signed up to complain.

Zombie is now complaining about the renewed confusion created by "nicknames" that are virtually identical.

Yup. Impossible to reply to somebody called "userxxxx" as there's so many of them. Why can't it be that you have to choose a nickname on first log-in?

If Zombie gets told off by HQ I will give them a virtual slap, as opposed to a real one, which I might get into trouble for. I agree with you Zombie, especially as the Users very often turn out to be arses.

It seems an odd thing to do on a forum, why offer an automated name? If you are going to force them to log in then force them to try and come up with a name.
