Livid - porn on my phone! please help

I'm not the most tech savvy person, can anyone help please?

Last night I was posting on Mumsnet and an advert for a sex chat site appeared out of nowhere which had a close up video of a woman using a vibrator on herself that completely filled the screen Angry.

How did I inadvertently do this? It was on the Louise Mensch thread, I followed a link to the tweet and read it, then went back to post my message. I think when I hit post is when the porn appeared but I can't be entirely sure. I couldn't work out how to get it to stop either for a minute, or how to close the page.

I don't want porn on my phone ffs! What can I do?

On pg 7 danielbtech from MNHQ mentioned an iPhone app to download to help report bad ads.

Ach, sorry all. This is really useful though - we're definitely narrowing it down.

We're going to turn that channel of ads off again now, so please do let us know if it happens again after about 20 mins, as that will be significant.

I havent had anything for a few days either. (I'm in Greater Manchester, use android, was on MN sporadically through the day yesterday and over the weekend, if that helps at all).

Nothing for me since last posted, will keep browsing, use my kindle privately (no one else knows the passcode Grin) and inform if anything happens.

Not that I want to see porny pop-ups obv, but realise others have smaller children around them hovering and not able to risk browsing and it needs to be sorted.

Hi all,

We have narrowed down the issue to a specific area but we haven't hit the nail on the head with the actual root of the problem.

We need to turn ads back on one by one (there are a lot of them) to find the specific one that is causing the issue so that we can get rid of it.

We will do this slowly over the week, could we please ask that if you see anything untoward that you mail [email protected] immediately and we will stop it. We're so sorry that this has become such a long winded process and that you've been exposed to these ads, we are trying our best to get rid of them but we do need your help.

Motorola G phone with AGV . Can't screen shot as last time I tried my phone went born and unresponsive for ages apart from a dead android !!
