Like button

Would it be an idea to have a like/dislike button on posts? It would save SO much hot air and posting and reposting from people.

Also, is it possible please to link to other posters when you post? As an "@" button?

Does no body think it strange that Emmanuelle didn't come back... Is no one worried for her safety? Is she bound and gagged and shoved in the MNHQ gin cupboard.

A pretend hide poster button is a brilliant idea. Like sticking your fingers in your ears and saying 'la la la la, I can't hear you'. Maybe we should just have a button that says that.

Or just a FFS button with a tutting eye roll emoticon. That's my response to 80% of threads.

I do love it when someone posts "Your post makes me wish Mumsnet had a like button." That's 8 more words than just saying "great post" - never give in to these people. Even if Usual has gone to the dark side
