Like button

Would it be an idea to have a like/dislike button on posts? It would save SO much hot air and posting and reposting from people.

Also, is it possible please to link to other posters when you post? As an "@" button?

I'd quite like this too, it would save writing stuff like 'What xx said'.

Having said, I seem to remember being told when the subject last came up that Tech reckoned it would be impossible given the site's basic structure, no matter how much gin we offered.

I'm not sure about linking to other posters, if you desperately want them to know you've said something on a thread you could always PM them. I have done this a couple of times.

I've said this 1,236,987 times before : I disagree and think it would be a crap idea. It's just dumbing down.

It has been asked for many times. It has always been a no thank goodness.

Just highlight names if you want to respond to other posters.

It would also be good to have a signature section so I can put in some information about my family and maybe include a little poem.
