The only thing my ex sends me is the kids dirty clothes Grin

headlesslambrini · 22/08/2015 21:16

Sooooo, getting to the important stuff ...... what type of cake is it?

I mean different cakes have different meanings:
lemon drizzle - bitchy, controlling, watch your back
chocolate - cheer up cake after a LTB event
Victoria sponge - ILs are coming and they haven't pissed you off yet
Eccles - ILs have arrived and pissed you off so have been downgraded and you keep the Victoria sponge till after they've gone, coz you're going to need it

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 22/08/2015 21:22

my favourite is Black Forest Gateaux - yum

LittleRedRidingHoodie1 · 22/08/2015 21:25

I actually prefer a nice banoffee. Smile

twirlypoo · 22/08/2015 21:26

Local Grin I think this is the first time he's given me something other than a bloody headache!

FuckOffJeffrey · 22/08/2015 21:34

< ponders if the 'Extra Goodies' on that pop up was actually free cake >

LocalEditorEssex · 22/08/2015 21:34

twirly was it nice ? I could go a nice Chinese :)

Hygge · 22/08/2015 21:37

Simurgh "Thread further down this page, Hygge. You're not on it - but act as if you are. Who knows what information is out there."

Thank you. I still can't find the list, is it on one of the MNHQ posts or linked by someone else?

I have changed passwords but don't use the same one for all sites anyway. Changed them all anyway just for peace of mind.

headlesslambrini · 22/08/2015 21:38

See Black Forest says little bit of luxury, time to put feet up and settle down

Banoffe, good choice btw, now that means its time to be a little naughty, to let the inner child play - are you Jeffery

LittleRedRidingHoodie1 · 22/08/2015 21:40

I think if Jeffery made one he wouldn't get it quite right and his bananas would go brown and slimy.

twirlypoo · 22/08/2015 21:40

It was bloody lovely. I lent him my car and he drove off with my handbag in it, so I was left stranded without take away money. Then a chinese turned up at the door and he texted to say he had sent it as he felt bad for leaving me with no money. I've almost forgiven for him doing a runner and leaving me when I was pregnant now Grin

Pipbin · 22/08/2015 21:40

Hygge
The list: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/2452645-THE-LIST

This is the edited version of the list with just the names. The online version had IP addresses as well as passwords.

Simurgh · 22/08/2015 21:44

Well done Pipbin. My laptop is slow tonight.

I wouldn't go looking for the online version, Hygge. Who knows what nasties might be lurking in that site.

HelenaDove · 22/08/2015 21:47

sainsburys do a lovely white chocolate cake. I have one in every year for my birthday.

IFancyRichard · 22/08/2015 21:50

Coffee and walnuts.

Hygge · 22/08/2015 21:51

Thanks Pipbin, I can't see any of my usernames on the list.

I won't look for the online version. Smile

LocalEditorEssex · 22/08/2015 21:52

twirly Grin Grin

Breadandwine · 22/08/2015 21:54

It's not a vegan cake, is it? Could be mine….

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/08/2015 21:59

I wouldn't go looking for the online version, Hygge. Who knows what nasties might be lurking in that site.

All his sites are down anyway...

BlahBlahUsername · 22/08/2015 22:00

Just updated to Windows 10 and I got a message asking if I want to remove a program on my computer which has been logging information I type in (can't recall the exact phrase but I think that was the gist of it.) It may not have been anything suspicious but it's gone anyway. Annoyingly I wasn't told what the program actually was.

(I'm ever so slightly concerned because 19 year old DS 'borrows' my laptop every so often at night/while I'm out and returns it with browsing history cleared... I choose not to think about that too much, and I certainly don't want to one day see a list of terms he has searched for displayed online for all the world to see - and attached to my name!!)

headlesslambrini · 22/08/2015 22:06

White chocolate cake - hmm and might I just add yum, now this is a cake for special days not everyday, this is a posh cake, it needs a reason for its baking

Coffee and walnut - the PTA and / or teacher(s) are coming, this impresses people especially if home baked!

iamaboveandBeyond · 22/08/2015 22:06

Aww, i used to send people random food deliveries (and taxis too) when i was about 13 Grin

A definite improvement on swatting.

Simurgh · 22/08/2015 22:13

I didn't know how good a searcher Hygge was, ItsGoingToBeFine.

Just tell your son that Windows 10 records everything he's doing and sends it to Microsoft, BlahBlah. That might take the wind out of his sails.

WendyTorrance · 22/08/2015 22:19

If anyone would like to send me pizza, cake, gin or any other foodstuffs then PM me for my address.

I'll accept quality dog food too as pay day isn't 'til late next week and Wendydog looks a bit hungry.

Simurgh · 22/08/2015 22:20

I have fond hopes that HQ will be opening the gin cupboard at some stage, WendyTorrance. Smile
