This thread has reminded me that I actually had a FB account which I hadn't accessed for an age because I had no idea what the password was. (The email was nothing like my MN one in any case.)

It's fine.

I know this is a really v boring question, but why are the icons working for some people, and not for others? (and I realize this is not entirely 'of the moment', but there are seventytenhundredthousand pages of technical bollocksery for me to plough through.

And I really ought to change my f-ing password again, as I still haven't been locked out at all, and last time it let me change to another one that apparently doesn't meet the new improved requirements. Even though it was after they were implemented. Gah. I've logged in and out so many times my head may explode...

Did anyone ever reply to the question 'why are there people on the list that haven't yet had a forced password re-set?' or do I have to keep trawling... any ideas?

Not sure if this is relevant, but thought I should mention it. I keep getting logged out this morning. (In Australia so it's 10:50 Saturday morning.) Every time I leave a thread, go to Active Convos or go into a thread, I get logged out. I don't have any issues logging back in. I was on the list and have changed my password.

Not sure if this is just me or not but on mobile site and all the icons have changed Active is a broken heart emoji? Search is a kiss? I don't think I've noticed that before

My Ds had not been well but has finally gone off to sleep,probably won't be asleep for long enough to go through all of this .

I have done the forced password change.

As long as your MN password isn't the same as anywhere else you'll be fine

No none, are the same as on here.

Then no nothing you need to do other than changing the password to here which you've done

Mine was Password1. I've changed it to Pa55word now. Should be fine

Just had a flashing red spot in an envelope in the ad bar (but looks to the unsuspecting as if part of a mumsnet page - copies the tool bar on the full website, but is a bit blurry - momentarily thought I had a new PM, but wasn't going to click). I'm sure I had one prior to all this & clicked and it didn't do much - I wasn't on the list.

So ill timed (blurry) ad - or something more sinister?

Devilish I've seen that before and reported it too. I don't think MN have full control of their ads and that one is clearly dodgy, don't click it.

I know I did click it a few weeks ago - before all this, but I can't remember what happened. It may have taken me to a login page? Really can't remember though. But I'm not on the list.
