Hi all,

As you know we have launched the new mobile site, we know it's a big change and we are still very keen to get it right with your help. This is very much a version that will evolve with your help as part of the testing process.

There have been a few glitches that have/are being ironed out and the HUGE thread has nearly maxed out, so we thought it best to start a shiny new one.

We know change is tricky but, as with most things MN, we are all ears and happy to look at any feedback you have on ways we can improve the new site.

I am sure it has been asked already but it's hard enough to navigate without trying to got through the whole thread but when I click on the threads from TIO it takes me to the first post, I want to come to the last post not what I had already read

LittleBear I'm scrolling 'down' (I think...) no safari buttons. I think it's the ad that's the problem but I see this has already been mentioned 100's of times and may change.

Ha Yes, we will probably test the ad in a few positions.

Bear Scrolling 'up' and reading 'down'. No safari buttons anyway. I know what you mean.

I do like the easy smileys now btw MNHQ. If you add an 'edit post' function then that'd ease my woe even more.

Portrait/landscape issue exactly he same for me as for Theonewiththenicestsmile

I cannot post on the app at all. I type something and just get the round dotted circle until the page times out.

So frustrating!

Plus I can't see an option to start a new thread on the mobile app.

The op posts are highlighted so faintly it's near impossible to see - can we have the purple and green back?

Plus can we have a view the whole thread button? I hate having to click through page after page.

In fact the posts I'm taken up to are inching downwards - most recently it was 1045

My battery is down to 24% now though from 90% at about 9.30am - it usually lasts all day - I think I might have to go back to desktop again for a while

To start a new thread:

Go into a topic, and select "Add thread" from the sub-menu (NB you must be logged in to see the sub-menu: it's under the downward-pointing chevron under the three main icons in the top right of the page)

I'm on an iPhone 5s on wifi and posting is fine. It's a bit flaky when I move from wifi to 3/4g but I can live with that

Won't let me hide the icons bar. I can get it up on the menu but clicking on it won't activate it.

We don't have an on-page button for this at the moment although we'll keep an eye on how many of you would like it reinstated personally I used to use it quite a lot.
