Hello comrades

As lots of you will know, we've been developing a brand new, souped up version of the Mumsnet mobile site for seven geological eras quite a long time now.

We can now exclusively reveal that the new mobile site is... TOTALLY AND UTTERLY ABOUT TO BE RELEASED, LIKE, ANY TIME NOW.

We've tested it on loads of MNers ( to those who have helped out) but inevitably there will be glitches that only reveal themselves once tens of thousands of you dive in and start using it - so please use this thread to let us know about those (with the usual info about browsers and devices).

And if you like it, please pass along and to ShamTech, BrunoTech, JessicaMumsnet and all the other techs and MHQers who have been working their digits off on this.

The new improved apps are coming, honest... but in the meantime, if the old apps are driving you bonkers, do please take the new mobile site for a test drive.

Is this forever?
Or is way to keep using the old layout if you want to/don't like this one?

Well its working ok here. Off to try some stuff.

The OPs posts don't' highlight despite ticking the button in customise and I have no clue how to start a new thread - Using an iPhone.

I love it, it's beautiful :-)

But pleeeeease can we have an edit post option?! Also can't view attached pictures larger on iphone? They're tiny..

On threads Im on you cant see if anyone has posted without going back on the thread, dont like that either. Hate hate hate having to go to the bottom of the page to turn the page over

Ok I am calming down a bit... but.. you have to make all op posts highlighted. I spend waayy too much time on here as it is and while I usually read the whole thread honest it helps to pick out op's replies

I really like it! I'm on iPhone and I'm finding it easy to navigate, infact, I think it's clearer and more logical and the buttons are bigger for my fat fingers

Ok, not sure if I'm missing something obvious --entirely possible/-, but how does one flip a thread or get the posts all on one page? Also why no Next/Previous at the top? It was useful to be able to load a page and hit Last without scrolling all the way down.

Also could the thread title be made bold to make it stand out?

And not a fan of TIO - I liked having the preview of posts that have been added.

I can hardly see any text. It randomly zooms in and out. It's hard to navigate.

God it's slow!! Not liking this much at ALL!!!

How many bad reviews do there need to be to change it back to how it was. Seriously guys it sucks beyond belief please please change it.

I can barely even see what I'm writing in the box it copes with a few lines before the top half disappears.

I seem to have no choice. Icon on phone takes me to new look. It seems a but utilitarian and functional. More stripped-back minimalist than Bauhaus or perfectly functional and attractive Arts and Craftsy.

Someone tell me how to flip

The little quirks don't make up for everything else. And what's with all the white?! Jeez...

The background is too white which being dislexic makes the words jump about after a couple of lines

Ditto poster up'fred who mentioned that only the OP's first post is highlighted, not any subsequent posts they make. Is that as it should be?

It's awful.

Active convos is like a bland jumble sale.

Adverts cover TOO much of the page, and why are they always on top?!

I like the look and layout, with two massive "buts":

• in the previous format clicking on the first part of a post from Active Convos, Threads I'm On, Watching etc. used to take me to that post. Now it takes me to the beginning of the thread. Please put that feature back.
• There needs to be some way of getting to the bottom of a page in a thread. Scrolling down is unmanageable.

LoveBeingInTheSun you press the three little dots at the end of the post and you can report it from there.
