Hands up everyone who wants to try out the BRAND NEW MUMSNET MOBILE SITE

Hello comrades

As lots of you will know, we've been developing a brand new, souped up version of the Mumsnet mobile site for seven geological eras quite a long time now.

We can now exclusively reveal that the new mobile site is... TOTALLY AND UTTERLY ABOUT TO BE RELEASED, LIKE, ANY TIME NOW.

We've tested it on loads of MNers ( to those who have helped out) but inevitably there will be glitches that only reveal themselves once tens of thousands of you dive in and start using it - so please use this thread to let us know about those (with the usual info about browsers and devices).

And if you like it, please pass along and to ShamTech, BrunoTech, JessicaMumsnet and all the other techs and MHQers who have been working their digits off on this.

The new improved apps are coming, honest... but in the meantime, if the old apps are driving you bonkers, do please take the new mobile site for a test drive.

Actually, to be fair, maybe on a phone it would be okay. But I never use the Internet on my phone, I'm on a tablet, and there just seems to be too much white space.

Please can we have the option of having the old mobile site if we're on a tablet?

Last whinge probably not because it's awful... The number of posts to a thread is completely wrong too. See attached photo!

I'm on iPhone. Between the ad at top, blue bar at bottom and the usual bookmark and arrows that appear when you scroll up, there's a lot of the screen taken up

I have tried to highlight OP posts - have been into Customise and ticked the appropriate box - but only the very first post by the OP is showing up as highlighted, none of the OP's further posts on the thread.

Other than that, I quite like the new look.

ooohhh crossing out is very dark!

I think I'll try my iPad because it truly is horrendous on the iPhone. It's a scrolling nightmare!

Arrg! I just tried to zoom in on a picture to make it big enough to actually see (nothing happens if I tap on it, never has). The blue bar at the bottom got huge, the ad at the top got huge, and between the two of them, they completely obscured the picture.

I hate it.

I don't like it. I am on mobile site on my Samsung and I just don't like the changes. I like seeing the op at the top of each page. I liked having the buttons at the bottom of each post. I don't know if I will be able to get used to it.

It looks like The Guardian's mobile site and that's shit.

Isn't it number of new posts rather than total number?

Iphone here: I get that it's supposed to look clean, with lots of white space I'm in the know, you know but instead of uncluttered it just looks empty. Menus take up too much space, too.
Smilies etc. look very pixelated.
Too much space taken up by ads.

And you can turn off the bottom bar if you don't like it.

I have a Nexus 5 -using Chrome, and it does seem like there is a lot of white space, which means a lot of scrolling. Very much like KnackeredMuchly's screenshot above. The ad at the top takes up about 1/8th of the screen. It would be great if we could close the ad once we have seen it like on other sites.

I tried to customise using the drop down arrow, but the op's posts don't seem to be highlighted. And it said I could only chose 1 option - either op's posts highlighted, or special needs. I'd rather like to be able to have both!

How do I flip the thread? What is wrong with me that I can't find that option? I would look through this thread but it just takes too long now to scroll through!!

Where's the report button? Where's ma customise? DH says it looks pants too. Sorry.

Everytime I bookmark it jumps me up to the first post on the page.
