Problems with "Active" reverting to an older page

Littlefish · 28/06/2014 17:08

When I load Mumsnet I always click on "Active". As expected, this brings up the most recent page. However, if I click on a thread and then click on the "back button" to go back to Active, it loads a much older page/set of threads - sometimes from at least a day ago.

This is annoying to say the least and means that I have to keep re-clicking the "Active" tab at the top to reload the most recent version.

Any ideas?

I'm on a iPad using safari.

I mentioned this last night on another thread.

PortofinoRevisited · 28/06/2014 17:15

I have exactly the same issue. Safari on IPad.

AgentProvocateur · 28/06/2014 17:20

Same. Safari on iPhone 4S

NotALondoner · 28/06/2014 17:21

Me too. iPod.

PositiveAttitude · 28/06/2014 17:22

Not just me then?? I'm on Chrome on my laptop.

Littlefish · 28/06/2014 18:39

Annoying though it is, I'm glad it's not just me!

greenhill · 28/06/2014 18:45

Same here. Safari on iPad too.

Onetwothreeoops · 28/06/2014 18:46

Yep safari on iPad here. If there was another thread does that mean HQ are on it?

Littlefish · 28/06/2014 18:49

I don't know Onetwothreeoops. I'll report my message to be sure that they see this thread. Hopefully, someone from MNHQ will come along sometime this weekend (unless they're all lying under the desk with a bottle of gin).

Hey, Littlefish,

We totally refute the suggestion we're all ginned up tonight. Though there may be some wine on the go. Hic. Wine

Anyway, thanks for letting us know about this problem. We shall be alerting our marvellous Tech folk.

Littlefish · 28/06/2014 19:12

Thanks Dawn. Enjoy the vino. Grin

Back again!

We're just wondering if (slash hoping that) this could be a BT problem ...

Could we have a show of hands please if you're using BT to access the site?

Littlefish · 28/06/2014 19:58

BT phone line but EE is ISP.

Is that what you mean?

OP posts:
lucidlady · 28/06/2014 20:02

Also having this issue and my ISP is Virgin Media (I'm using safari on iphone)

lucidlady · 28/06/2014 20:02

I'm using wifi at home but EE outside

TheannamoLeelu · 28/06/2014 20:04

No wonder there are so many zombie threads being reactivated, I wondered what was going on!

HairyMaclary · 28/06/2014 20:06

I'm having this issue both with virgin wifi and on O2 3G. I thought it was just my phone!

AgentProvocateur · 28/06/2014 20:19

Virgin wifi and Vodafone 3G. Same problem on both

SpiffingGalore · 28/06/2014 20:23

Me too. Safari on iPhone 5. Virgin media and three, no bt.

fieldfare · 28/06/2014 20:25

Me too. Safari on iPad. Sky for both.

3littlewomen · 28/06/2014 20:27
