Did you ban John Hemming (the MP) for outing me ?

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:47

Cos he isn't on The Thread.

And I'd like to know why.

I am immaginging that the party whip we've been phoning, emailing and twittering has tied him up and run off with his keyboard.

Can I hang on to that fantasy, or did you ban him ?

It's not the end of the world to me that he posted my twitter account, knowing it was me and knowing it was my real name. But I will quickly drum up some minding if required to purge MN of his presence.

Many people are very grateful to JM. A cliche on mumsnet seem to hate him. That's is a pity. He seems always to be subjected to unfair bullying. I think it's awful.

There are very few people helping parents suffering injustice and lobbying for more openness in the family courts and he is one of the few. He has a lots of admirers despite the view given on mumsnet threads.

MadameDefarge · 31/12/2013 21:05

riggggghhhhht.

moving swiftly on...

PacificDingbat · 31/12/2013 21:06

Yes, he does have many admirers. It does not make his actions any more defensible.

I don't know JH; I only judge him by what he states on public record and his actions.

And I am NOT part of any kind of quiche.

Due process needs to be followed, otherwise we might as well get rid of the UK legal system. Desperate parents need to seek legal advice and not be manipulated and strung along.
Lobbying for more openness in Family Courts is one thing; spreading untruths quite another.

MadameDefarge · 31/12/2013 21:07

I think it might his devilish good looks...

PacificDingbat · 31/12/2013 21:08

Now, now, calm down, Mme

Onefewernow · 31/12/2013 21:16

Quiche?

CarpeVinum · 31/12/2013 21:16

I replied to the reply Pacific

Mary

If a social worker came on here

"not sober"

plastered extract from non public legal docs, complete with the full names of three minors and their DOBS on a massive public forum

plus emailed an unredacted page from a legal doc in an ongoing British case to a poster on said forum, for the sake of trying to prove a debate point

Wonld you be all "oh everybody makes mistakes, they are a good egg really "

or would you (quite rightly) do the same thing that I would do..

and call it a grave error for which they should be held accountable ?

See the thing is that it is the "what was done" that is important, not "who did it".

Wel, at least it is that way for people who have principles that don't "flex" when it suits them. I don't give a shit if he bottle feed orphan kittens all night. It does not excuse what he has done here.

Yes how cruel to "bully" a defencless millionaire MP by demanding he be held accountable for his actions.

Onefewernow · 31/12/2013 21:18

Or a cliche, for that matter!

oadcb · 31/12/2013 21:22

Id be sacked if I did what John hemming did, I'd lose my registration too.
This isn't a quiche and bullying. He's a disgrace

Devora · 31/12/2013 21:32

Happy New Year, freedom fighters. I have some rather good chocolate here. May be going out later; rather hoping not to.

Spero · 31/12/2013 21:38

Happy new year fellow freedom fighters. I have got liqueur cherries and Hot Fuzz on ITV2 and the thought of going out makes me feel afraid.

I look forward to a very happy new year of continuing to attempt to hold Hemming and his ilk to account - you coming to the debate Mary? He wants half the audience tickets to allocate!

MrsWembley · 31/12/2013 21:41

I don't want to be just another poster bleating on about the same thing, or indeed, to draw attention to a fuckwit, but could I please suggest everyone reading this should, indeed, RTFT before posting.

Otherwise (shockingly), their posts might make them sound like an arse.

Nuff said.

It's obviously deeply unfair to hold him to any sort of standards whatsoever, especially those covered by the law, how mean are we?

PacificDingbat · 31/12/2013 21:44

Please keep PA to an absolute minimum - it'd be a shame to get the thread deleted. Just sayin'.

Onefewernow · 31/12/2013 21:45

I saw that Spero, but why?

MadameDefarge · 31/12/2013 22:00

tired, you might want to rephrase, and report the, er Pa to MNHQ

Spero · 31/12/2013 22:04

One fewer now - I suspect he is braver with his hareem.

Onefewernow · 31/12/2013 22:09

I think so too. That begs the question why too, though, doesn't it?

On the subject of PA etc, I also would imagine certain people would like to see drunken comments as well.

Which is why I'm probably off quite soon!

MrsWembley · 31/12/2013 22:20

Which is why, after half a bottle of Veuve, I managed to comment on fuckwits in the third person!!

I also had to go back and make several corrections on this and the last thread...

BoreOfWhabylon · 31/12/2013 22:23

Happy New Year to the fabulous Nest of Viperz! Wine

Tiredemma · 31/12/2013 22:26
