Did you ban John Hemming (the MP) for outing me ?

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:47

Cos he isn't on The Thread.

And I'd like to know why.

I am immaginging that the party whip we've been phoning, emailing and twittering has tied him up and run off with his keyboard.

Can I hang on to that fantasy, or did you ban him ?

It's not the end of the world to me that he posted my twitter account, knowing it was me and knowing it was my real name. But I will quickly drum up some minding if required to purge MN of his presence.

Whoever is adept at these kinds of things should perhaps add the restirred controversy to his wiki too... Show he has form for such behaviour...?

lougle · 30/12/2013 20:29

No, although that has a ring to it, Mignonette.

Wait for it...it's really quite unique and special......

johnhemming

Hmm...mumsnetbloggers are tweeting away. Why is your blog not featured? Is it not mainstream enough?

BoreOfWhabylon · 30/12/2013 20:33

Go on then Carpe, flash me your synapses

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 30/12/2013 20:36

I think it's telling that this thread is still here.

In ye olden days of yore, we might well have been told to shut up by now. That may or may not have been because JH was trigger happy with threats of legal action.

CarpeVinum · 30/12/2013 20:37

bore

If you think they won't click, just whip the whole text and whack it in the body of the mail.

I find

MP "not sober" on Mumsnet - Gets Banned

makes for an attention grabbing subject line. Grin

Just checking West. Hadn't seen it previously.

PacificDingbat · 30/12/2013 20:54

Is the ItalianCrackLegalTeam watching too?
I am still reeling from the fact that ItalianCrackLawyer doesn't look a bit like this

Throbbing ears - sounds painful

WestmorlandPigInBlanket · 30/12/2013 21:02

tis also how I imagined ItalianCrackLegalTeam

Spero · 30/12/2013 21:04

One of the many delightful things about the past few weeks has been the opportunity to trip down memory lane. Thought I would share with you this John gem from 2011

"all night" is a bit of an exaggeration. I think it is a good idea for politicians to engage with the citizens of the UK.

Well I certainly feel 'engaged with'. I am wracking my brains to think of any other public person who has seen fit to name check me in his blog.

CarpeVinum · 30/12/2013 21:04

One of CrackItalianLawyerTeam not too disimilar to that Pacific .. but silver fox version.

OP posts:
PacificDingbat · 30/12/2013 21:08

What a relief!

Silverfox is probably a bit more age-appropriate any way

CarpeVinum · 30/12/2013 21:08

Yarrss. I felt very engaged with when he posted my name.

Like he ..... Knew Who I Was and..... Could Find Out Where I Lived ...and everything.

Good of him to make me feel like he... took a personal interest in me.

I'm touched
