Did you ban John Hemming (the MP) for outing me ?

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:47

Cos he isn't on The Thread.

And I'd like to know why.

I am immaginging that the party whip we've been phoning, emailing and twittering has tied him up and run off with his keyboard.

Can I hang on to that fantasy, or did you ban him ?

It's not the end of the world to me that he posted my twitter account, knowing it was me and knowing it was my real name. But I will quickly drum up some minding if required to purge MN of his presence.

Who knew tweeting could be such fun?

Someone has posted that JH has accepted his challenge to a debate, subject to agreeing on the subject/question. That person has then thrown it open for suggestions...

So far, I have:

"Typing 'I'm not sober, but I'm right' is an ill-judged action, after breaching a court order on MN."

and

"Breaching a court order on Mumsnet undermines your position as MP. Discuss."

Tricky to get it down to so few characters...

Yes, I've been dipping in and out of old threads.

I first realised he hadn't a clue what he was on about five years ago Shock That's a long time to not learn anything about anything, isn't it?

MurderOfGoths · 30/12/2013 21:35

" That's a long time to not learn anything about anything, isn't it?"

It's almost a skill really

PacificDingbat · 30/12/2013 21:38

I don't think he's the 'learning' sort... Hmm

CarpeVinum · 30/12/2013 21:55

ooh that he were the resigning sort.

OP posts:
sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea · 30/12/2013 22:19

Oh that he were the 'suspended by parliamentary party, deselected by local party, and found guilty of contempt of court, sentenced and gaoled' type.

PacificDingbat · 30/12/2013 22:25

Yy, what sadeyedlady said

sanssoleil · 30/12/2013 22:25

Deselection would be a modest victory

I've just checked his blog - he's let the comments stand!

Not answered them properly, mind you...

It's quite instructive looking at tho 2011 threads. Back then John Hemmings was telling us to be patient whilst he worked on exposing the corrupt judges who he claimed were in cahoots with social services. Two and a half years later, he hasn't managed to put together a case against any judge. He told us that he had evidence that some solicitors who purported to act for parents were actually working with social services to undermine their clients' cases. Two and a half years later, he hasn't managed to make a case against any solicitor that he is even prepared to go public with, let alone one that has got such a solicitor disciplined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

But he still apparently has not learnt that producing a sheet of statistics does not constitute producing evidence.

Any tweeter up and about ?

Today can some of us please tweet A girl called jack with the sysnospis

Jack Monroe is moving house today and tomorrow so probably not the best timing. Might be best to wait a few days.

CarpeVinum · 31/12/2013 09:19

oh .... bugger !

Right. Who else have we got ?

Sysnopsis stats almost doubled yestereday, need to keep the momentum going.

I am think search for who is involved in the food bank debate and drop them a line. He hacked off quite a lot of people in the same timeframe.
