If Fathers for Justice invade again

will they still be welcome?

I'm referring to the thread in the Feminism/Women's Rights section -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/a1419965-Agenda-much

where Justine said:

"an invasion - ie let's go on and tell those mumsnetters why they've got it all wrong - isn't necessarily the same as trolling tbh (ie deliberately misleading/antagonising). I think we ought to be able to be robust enough to be able to debate the issue, with the caveat, of course, that if visitors turn out merely to be here to wind up or hear to spread hatred then they are not welcome"

It appears that as long as they promote their agenda in PARD then no harm done. Is that a fair assessment?

Judging by the latest activity on their fb page, I don't think they especially like Justine saying they're not a credible organisation.

Yesterday shortly before lunch I was in town and I was walking along and in front of me there was a guy staggering along, can of cheap cider in his hand. He couldn't walk 10 paces without stopping to support himself against a wall. Watching F4J is like watching that guy, you can't quite believe what you're seeing, you have to keep looking because you know that he's either going to vomit all over himself or fall in a heap on the floor, and you're embarrassed on his behalf for the spectacle he's making of himself.

I think they've just vomited all over themselves.

Grin smells

ThisIsExtremelyVeryNotGood · 11/03/2012 11:28

Smells Grin

I particularly am intrigued by their claim to support free speech, given that one of their number told them they were taking it too far and they promptly removed his comment. Free speech my arse.

FrothyDragon · 11/03/2012 14:03

Crikey. SAF's comment about "some" fathers has been twisted, screwed and garbled beyond recognition.

SOME is not the same as saying ALL. I think I covered that with my child when he was 2? 3?

Has anyone seen the bullying and threatening update on the F4J facebook page?

They are threatening to 'target' MN's advertiser Marks and Spencer.

They do an astounding job of showing themselves to be exactly what they are don't they?
