If Fathers for Justice invade again

will they still be welcome?

I'm referring to the thread in the Feminism/Women's Rights section -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/a1419965-Agenda-much

where Justine said:

"an invasion - ie let's go on and tell those mumsnetters why they've got it all wrong - isn't necessarily the same as trolling tbh (ie deliberately misleading/antagonising). I think we ought to be able to be robust enough to be able to debate the issue, with the caveat, of course, that if visitors turn out merely to be here to wind up or hear to spread hatred then they are not welcome"

It appears that as long as they promote their agenda in PARD then no harm done. Is that a fair assessment?

It says it all really, doesnt it Basil? I am continually surprised at the lack of self awareness displayed by f4j and that sort of group. Utterly oblivious to reality.

ThisIsExtremelyVeryNotGood · 10/03/2012 21:55

Not just because you love your child Basil, but because you love your partner and respect him/her as an individual and as an equal. I'd hazard a guess that there'd be a lot less relationship breakdown if that were the case.

it's like me getting a speeding fine and instead of accepting it, taking ownership of my speeding, showing i am taking some driving lessons, turning over a new leaf, paying my fine etc deciding to take on the dvla for being a pack of lying, corrupt, driver abusers who have an agenda to stop women in their mid 30's from driving.

i doubt denial, blame and projection go down well in court either let alone fake stats and lies.

Aaah stupid slow tablet thingy!

runningforthebusinheels · 10/03/2012 22:07

Actually, I'm marginally concerned that banned knows enough about MN to know about the 'we believe you' campaign - but not enough to know it's a campaign against sexual violence against women.

swallowedAfly · 10/03/2012 22:07

are you saying that of the 300 people denied contact a high proportion of them will be abusive AND stupid basil?? you might be onto something...

swallowedAfly · 10/03/2012 22:10

just a thought - but anyone thinking that the 'we believe you' campaign might actually be what incensed these guys and led to all this????

given much of their propaganda relies on the malicious assumption that women lie and make it up and the vast majority of accusations made by women are false i can see how the campaign might have made us a target.

swallowedAfly · 10/03/2012 22:12

fwiw i believe the women in these cases given they were backed up by cafcass and the court who are all too often ready to give contact to even abusive men with an evidenced history of their violence to women and children.

for any of the ex's who are reading this - i believe you - and i admire you for fighting to protect your children from danger and harm.

swallowedAfly · 10/03/2012 22:13

(that goes for the women on this thread who've been through domestic abuse too btw and fought to protect their children in a court system geared to want to always give contact)
