NationalFlight why not bid on the one I linked to earlier. It's on at bin £100 or best offer.

I have just ordered a cherry Energy from Kiddicare
We were out this afternoon and DD3 fell asleep in the Volo. She kept lolling forward and banging her head off the frame! Poor sausage. Also it is a pita to wheel across the grass. So I have a pushchair on the way.
Yipee

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 17:01

Oh thanks Flyme Yes I think I will.

I've asked paypal to open a dispute straight away, asking the seller to refund - hopefully they will just do it, realising I shall just do it anyway if they send out the buggy.

Why didn't I stop and think!!

The wheels look newish, the seat and hood don't. Very odd.

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 17:12

Ah, seller says he buys and sells and uses the same photo! Apparently it is the recent one with the zipped hood etc etc So I now have a paypal case open and have asked him for a photo of the actual one, and said I'll close the claim once it arrives.

Bit strange that he has sold several all the same, all used about 5 times and all two months old!

Bonkers.
Will update...

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/06/2009 17:16

Hmmm sounds a bit dodgy.
£55 is very very cheap for a recent one.

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 17:22

I know
that's why I bought it so quick!

Anyway...paypal have just told me that it's currently a not rteceived case, and if he does send it and it's not the right one, I can switch the claim to not as described.

He sounds a bit incompetent, crossed emails and so on, he's offered to cancel the transaction now and that was before anything else happened - so I've said post it and will see what it's like when it arrives!

confused? You will be

lillypie · 02/06/2009 17:43

I want another Energy but in fuchsia like the one I sold - I will have to keep an eye out on ebay

npg1 · 02/06/2009 17:55

so, I am wondering how old your youngest children are and what prams/ buggies you all have?

My LO is 2.7yrs old and getting to the stage where she doesnt want to be in the buggy and I have 4 buggies, could quite easily buy another!!!!

lillypie · 02/06/2009 18:09

My LO is 2.3yrs and I have 5 prams but one is a double that I use when I have my DGD to stay (she is 12 months younger than my DD)

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 18:09

Sounds a bit odd NF. I'd be the same, wait to see what it looks like. The price you paid is a bargain if its nearly new.

Bexie, Additions have a fab car bed in the sale here. You can get them with a drawer or an extra mattress underneath as well. I've just ordered DS2 this one but in the midsleeper (scroll down) and that was a bargain as well.

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 18:19

NF v.v.vstrange but total bargain if it is!!let us know.

dunoon, does the energy come tomorrow then, how exciting.

npg1 my youngest ds is 22m he's into walking atm tho, have to put a stop to that then i have ds2 who's 3.5yr and also likes a buggy ride when he can, or ride on buggyboard.

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/06/2009 18:41

Yes got a text to say next day delivery.

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/06/2009 18:48

That XT I linked to- I had put in a cheeky bid of £80 and then later after I bought the Energy I sent am email to tell her. Anyway she just emailed back to ask if I wanted her to reject my bid- does that imply that she would have accepted it otherwise?!!!!!
Bargain for someone if so.

4andnotout · 02/06/2009 18:49

I have dd3 who is 20 months and dd4 who is 7 months, i have a pink p&t sport and a pink century double buggy

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/06/2009 18:55

Oh and I have three DDs
9
4.7
2.7
1 pushchair!-Maclaren Volo. Citrus

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 19:06

can't wait to hear about the energy dunoon i was quite tempted myself at that price, but i think im just a maclaren girl tho.

NormaSknockers · 02/06/2009 19:27

Show of hands - is the orient Quinny footmuff to girly for DS?? I really like it but worried I'll make DS look silly??

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 19:46

Norma, I've seen one in the flesh, and it is rather girly. The Steel ones look lovely, but never seen them on Ebay or here.

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 19:46

mmmh not sure tbh, would have to see one in RL, you know me im all for girly colours on boys!!

NormaSknockers · 02/06/2009 19:59

I did think it was at first but the more I look at it the more I think it's not. The mian part that you see is orange & the lining is lime green, the purple is mostly on the back so will be hidden.

One colour is Steel 5in?? I'm guessing grey??

I like the Ironworks but still a bit plain I think...not sure....hhhhmmmm....

NormaSknockers · 02/06/2009 20:00

*What not one lol!

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:01

do you mean iron?

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:02

i don't know if i can send the breen one back going to try it on nipper again!!

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 20:03

Actually, I think its the iron I meant . The blue at the back is lovely. It is kind of a grey/blue in frony. Saw the Buzz in that colour, really nice.

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:08

oh im missing my zapp now.

saw lady up school earlier with herbie in splishy splashy is that colour you had? still think its lovely!

NormaSknockers · 02/06/2009 20:08

Sorry yes Iron, got confused with the Ironworks fabric lol!

I do like the blue as reminds me of the Capri colourway but just not sure.....toss up between the 2 I think!!
