Not mad at all - a bugaboo footmuff on a jive is a little mad, but not a quinny footmuff on a Nipper!

Kaisers are fleece inside, not as nice as the Quinny footmuffs inside IMO but do last longer.

Yes, splishy splashy. lovely colour. The black ones now have the same material inside, but in different shades of grey/black. Really nice.

I need someone to buy my XT! Watching Gecko that is near me and could collect on Saturday

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:41

hope it sells then 5in saw a black herbie in town at w/end. would def consider a herbie, but dp says my pram obsession puts him off another baby psml

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 20:42

LOL Nicola. I think if you ever had another baby, you should geta skate rather than a herbie. Its a lovely pram.

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:46

skate just looks so heavy going to compare weights!!

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:49

yes skate is 13kg and herbie 11kg, i don't like chassis of skate too much like a shopping trolley!

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 20:50

I thought that until I pushed one, with the Sumo in as well.
I just like how the seat unit goes from a carrycot to a seat unit with a few clicks and straps. Its very clever.

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 20:51

Yes, the basket is a bit weird. Not sure you would get mush in there.

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 20:52

well if i ever had another baby there would surely be a whole new pram world out there to explore i bet!!

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 20:54

My younger one is two in about 10 days...so he's still 1 technically!!! and therefore really needs several buggies

Most of the ones we have are from ebay and are being stored for when if I ever have another baby.

In use is one Mountain Buggy (black Urban) and one Easylife sport (occasionally, as seating angle suits older child)

In the cellar are an Emmaljunga Edge
a Gesslein something or other (M1?)
a Teutonia Mistral I think I ought to sell but it's so solid, and well made
and a Jane Nomad with carrycot, which I dislike using as a buggy but is a great car pram.

erm think that's it
selling Pliko and triumph.
I'm more of trad girl rather than a zapp lover, though was tempted by the buggster last year (resisted!) and used to have a Quinny Freestyle i liked.

The pending Maclaren will be buggy number...erm...roughly 56. (I have an older child too!!!)

NormaSknockers · 02/06/2009 20:55

5in the basket is odd looking but holds absolutely masses!

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 21:06

Is it really elasticy? I go to a baby group on a Tuesday, and always look at the skate that is there.

claret1980 · 02/06/2009 21:52

I see a couple of skates in our baby clinic, I always admire them. They do look big though.

BexieID · 02/06/2009 23:24

Oh dear...he just sent me picture, and it is the same one as on the listing so have rung him and he's refunding. Lovely chap so no harm done.

Have bunged in an offer on that other one - might raise it now! Thanks for your help girls.

5inthebed · 03/06/2009 08:14

JCMD, how does a 4 month old manage to get out of a bumbo?! My 6 month old loves his bumbo, but he has no chance of getting out as his super chunky legs are practically wedged in

NF, glad you got a refund.Fingers crossed you get the other one.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 08:31

NF the seller of that other one emailed to say that she would have accepted my offer of £80! Good luck.

DD3 just leant forward out of her bumbo at around 4 months. She was/is a skinny minnie. Very mobile at an early age too so no peace.
lol

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 08:51

5in think trampoline when it comes to the Skate basket, it's really springy & can hold masses!

Sadly I think the time has come to sell mine
