Yep it was but she emailed me saying she wanted a refund as she had a huge repair bill for her car. Stupid senditnow delaying everything!!!!

fairimum · 01/06/2009 21:36

Thanks have been looking at snunkie just so ££££!!! But I don't want it to get wrecked... wondering if unzipped buggy snuggle is too warm for summer? although is what i have on my other buggy!!

nicolamumof3 · 01/06/2009 21:39

i have one now on my nipper and its fine, when it gets very hot as they keep saying it will this summer then i will use sheepskin, just keep checking under liner, i used to hoover mine out each week!!

5inthebed · 01/06/2009 21:40

NationalFlight I'm selling a black on black XT, with or without matching footmuff if interested?

5inthebed · 01/06/2009 21:41

Nicola, you could answer this question

fairimum · 01/06/2009 21:42

Is sheepskin really much cooler?? looked at them over and over since DD was tiny.... doubt can get one to fit back seat as well though?

nicolamumof3 · 01/06/2009 21:48

i haven't used my sheepskin yet! i've had it months and its too nice to use but decided it will get used this summer well its natural and breathable so im sure it will be fine. many use in hot weather/countries.

as for doubles seat still best off with custom made.

NationalFlight · 01/06/2009 21:54

Oh thanks 5, that's kind...I had a looksie on ebay, it's beautiful! Hmm will think on it...

fairimum · 01/06/2009 21:55

Thanks - think will look at price of sheepskins - but may end up with custom made liner for back and keep the fleece bit of buggy snuggle on the front!

5inthebed · 01/06/2009 22:01

Obviously wouldn't be looking for £225 on here for it (no fees). Was looking at £175 for the pram posted?

abermum · 01/06/2009 22:16

anyone has experience of the loola? i have one which is fab as it fits perfectly (unlike the damn long maclaren car buggy thingy ) in my boot BUT recently since starting to use the seat instead of the maxi cosi on it i can't get it to unfold and lock the handles without taking the seat off- thus defeating the object any ideas before i start to shout at kiddicare

buggyjo · 01/06/2009 22:29

hi,can i add fairmum,i used to use a sheepskin on my doubles seat, and it worked very well, now ive had snunkie seat linners for front and back seat and there well worth the monet, very well made.

claret1980 · 02/06/2009 06:36

Morning all!

Vigour on ebay now. Hope it sells, just want rid now as it has been cluttering up the dining room.
Its on here if anyone wants it for £100 delivered.

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 07:23

NPG leave some gaps if you do, ie spaces, that way you shouldn'#t get spam

5 - thankyou, will keep it in mind of XLR too huge!! Have ordered one to see, but might send it back

nicolamumof3 · 02/06/2009 07:29

Morning all! bexie will email you now thanks xxx

got my helping in schools course today just need to finish my coursework

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/06/2009 08:39

Claret I love the look of your Vigour. Wish DD was that bit younger again so it would make sense to have it

bargain XT?

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 09:46

Dunoon, that looks like a right bargain! But the word immaculate puts me off after Dis's few mishaps . I'd put an offer in before it's snapped up!

Bexie, I could always put it all down and see if I can get a box for it. Don't think it would be that much to courier?

npg1 · 02/06/2009 09:48

Here is my email address for anyone who has a quest frame available! nikkilab @ hotmail dot com

claret1980 · 02/06/2009 10:24

Someone must want a Vigour! There was someone interested last week I think. Will check back in thread.

The seller on ebay that I bought the quest for a bargain £29 wants to cancel the transaction but won't say why.

digitalgirl · 02/06/2009 11:32

hello pushchair gurus, I thought this would be the best place to ask about a new buggy as you are all so wise!

Last buggy, Techno XLR, was in the boot of our car when it was stolen the other week, so we are in a position of being able to buy a more practical buggy for our 9mo DS even though I technically bought it to last him throughout his buggy riding years.

I like Maclaren, and I've just road-tested the Quest which was amazingly light, but really missed having the extendable hood on the XLR. I also found the Quest was a bit too rattley on uneven paths. Should I go for the XT or the Triumph. Or can anyone recommend a different brand (like the Silver Cross)?

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 11:37

hi Digitalgirl!

You could start your own thread as well, you might get a lot of replies as everyone has/had a maclaren at some point I think

I'm just in the process of replacing our tattered old techno. I've also got a Triumph but I didn't get on with that too well, as it doesn't recline very much, is fiddly to do so, certainly doesn't sit UP very straight when they want to, and has a little hood rather than an extending one. It also has smaller wheels.

The techno is much much better all round. I love the zipped hood and recline mechanism, plus it goes nearly flat.

how is the XLR, did you find it very cumbersome? I've ordered one but am going to teat it and might swap for an XT again as I know the ropes with the XT.

NationalFlight · 02/06/2009 11:38

test, that should say!

Also I ahve never had a Quest, think it is better than the triumph but there is a comparison chart on the maclaren website. HTH.

5inthebed · 02/06/2009 12:02

Digitalgirl, what about a baby joccer city mini (BJCM)? The hood on those is even better than the xt/xlr. I have both an XT and BJCM, and prefer my BJCM tbh. Three wheeler, reclines flat, has a great shopping basket. Fab pram all round (but I'm being modest as I love mine).

Or, I'm selling my XT if you would be interested
