Hello and welcome!

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 19/02/2009 18:03

What colour is your bee?

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:06

I have red and blue hoods. I have a red poshbug cosytoes too (did have blue bugaboo one but it sold) Dis. have dibs atm, just waiting for her to sell bits

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:09

shatteredmum, people have been saying the swifts are rubbish, the seats are too small apparently, but Ds2 is tiny so I am not worried. Also I struggled with the elite due to the weight so the swift sounds ideal

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 18:13

REALLY!!!!!! I absolutely loved it!!! My daughter is fairly small too though so didnt really consider the seat size although I didnt think it was too bad (although I do have a bee which I know is a small seat so perhaps I am used to it)....I have 2 urbans which I do find really heavy so I much preferred the swift for that reason too.

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:17

I am going to get one of the red ones on ebay as soon as I get payments for my bee stuff. I like the Bee but DH hates it compared to cam, and I don't really use the Bee much tbh

sal1309 · 19/02/2009 18:19

hello everyone how are you all?

well ive been at my mums for a few days heading home tomorrow took me ages to get her comp back on line lol

hope everyone is ok. i will have a read back eventually. anything good been happening or anyone bought anything new?

Nicola did you have a nice hols?

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 18:24

SGK the red ones do look fab....I too dont use/like the bee much, it is my 'bus buggy' but seeing as I dont drive (YET!!!) I have to keep it. I will definately get a swift asap but have just bought a m&p joolz and have 2 cams along with various others so really dont have the money/space at the mo!!!Am very jealous though as they are really gorg (I thought so anyway)

Maclaren · 19/02/2009 18:25

shatteredmumof5 when are you selling your Urband I am interested

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:26

I drive and the bee is kept in the house for when I walk to the shops but it really just gets used for Ds2 to sleep in. My cam is my main buggy. I do have the older fixed handle Urban which I prefer to the elite I sold last week. But if I get on with the swift that will be going too

nicolamumof3 · 19/02/2009 18:28

i saw a swift earlier somewhere will link it £350 i think?

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 18:37

I suppose the urbans SHOULD be going soon really but dont know if youd like the covers...I have one in baroque which came from mothercare about 6/7ish months ago but which has lived under my stairs and only been out about 4 times!!! The other is in coco which is obviously only good if you have a girl although I have got red dot covers too....£350 for the swift is from winstanleys I think but they dont have any in as yet!!!I do hate the fact that they dont come with raincovers though (an extra £30) dont know why they havent included them at that price really.

nicolamumof3 · 19/02/2009 18:41

ooh reading this i think i may be going off MB if they are heavy? i need an urban i think if the swift is small seat? ds is 19m now. no good me getting rid of p&t if MB is heavy? i always thought it was light for a three wheeler??

nicolamumof3 · 19/02/2009 18:42

yep shattered you are right it was winstanleys. god no raincover

misdee · 19/02/2009 18:43

can i be cheeky pls?

i need some money before next friday in the bank to pay for something. dont want to sell my beloved stokke.

thread in for sale. please look.

nappyaddict · 19/02/2009 18:44

I think it's 10kg.

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:47

winstanleys just let me add the swift to my basket

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:48

I found the urban elite heavy, but the fixed handle one is fine.

nicolamumof3 · 19/02/2009 18:48

i just want an urban...moss!

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 18:49

did you see the one on the pram board nicola??

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 18:52

NMof3....Please dont be put off!!!!They are really lovely to push and if you need an all terrain buggy then you cant go far wrong with MB, I dont think they are really any heavier than other similar sized buggies (Im just a wimp!!!)...Im just used to bugaboos for day to day and the MBs tend to come out for muddy Sundays standing in the rugby field!!! It is really stingy (not sure on spelling!!!) of them not to include a raincover for that sort of money though!!!After all, it is basically just a bit of plastic and most of the cheap and nastys even include them!!!

misdee · 19/02/2009 18:57

i love mb urbans.

shatteredmumof5 · 19/02/2009 18:59

SGK....They will let you add it to the basket (have been doing that for about 3 months) but when I called them to check if they had any in stock was told that they would be getting them in soon?!?!?!Have ordered stuff from winstanleys in the past and they are very good though

nicolamumof3 · 19/02/2009 19:09

i've ordered from winstanleys too.

Just found some boys swimtrunks if any interest? whilst packing away holiday bits.

12/18m Next and 18/24m (but same size as next) mini boden??

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2009 19:25

mmm so I could buy it from them but it could be weeks??!! I will buy one on ebay then

Maclaren · 19/02/2009 19:27
