Shein refusing to refund me

ForWaryBiscuit · 20/10/2024 15:04

Hi guys I sent 2 orders back to shein in the same returns box (so a combined return) I have been refunded for the 1 order but not the other, when the 2 orders were in the same box to be returned.

I've contacted shein and they ate basically saying that my other order has not reached their warehouse. It should have because it was in the SAME box. I really don't know what to do I've been going back and for fos days. It's not just one little thing it's £80 worth of stuff. So now I don't even have the stuff or a refund

Anyone else had a similar situation amd how did you resolve it

I will be deleting shein app off of my phone once I've sorted this

The OP returned £220 worth of stuff. That would get you quite a bit at asda. There's a vast gulf between Shein and Louis Vuitton!

Shein clothes are much better than Asda! They have nice dupes of loads of brands that look near identical (my daughter orders a lot of their stuff) and actually many of their office wear dresses are really nice too. How is Asda that much more ethical than Shein?

Grmumpy · 20/10/2024 15:28

Haven’t read the ft and haven’t used she in but if you paid credit or debit card ask your provider for advice. Good luck.

Shein also known as 'shite'

Ihatelittlefriendsusan · 20/10/2024 15:33

I have used shein alot, but have been burnt before by their combined return policy, luckily only a few quid but it does mean I do individual order returns now.

Did you pay on credit card or PayPal @ForWaryBiscuit? If so you can open a dispute. Do you have the email/postal receipt confirming the return had been collected?

Shein do great kids clothes and plus size. Their quality and ethics are no worse than the likes of Primark. ASOS and BooHoo.

Why bother with rip off dupes everyone will know are from shein

And I have contacted my bank with all the evidence needed, so hopefully they could do somthing

If it was 10 pounds worth I'd let it go, but i0 pound is alot of money

To those buying from the likes of Shein. I’d like to ask if you’d be happy being forced to work in the conditions people do to make your clothes. If not, then why is it for others?

Theres ignorance and then there’s deliberate not caring which is disgusting.

Saying ‘other companies are as bad’ doesn’t cancel out making unethical choices.

Snoken · 20/10/2024 15:38

How are people still so oblivious when it comes to this piece of shit company? You have now sent £170 worth of toxic clothes straight to landfill. Assuming you wore clothes during the summer months that just ended, why did you feel the need to make a massive order from China for more stuff.

PonyPlaiter · 20/10/2024 15:41

All that cheap nasty shit you return to this cesspit of a company gets dumped straight into landfill.

all the work those slaves put in was for nothing

PonyPlaiter · 20/10/2024 15:43

Anyone dressing their kids in shein clothes or buying them toys from these dodgy companies needs their heads examined as well

What's it to you WHY I ordered the clothes

Also I don't care where the clothes go after I returned them, I just wanted my money back

So shall we keep wearing the clothes that "the slaves" made

What a lovely attitude OP. Of course you don’t care where the clothes go or the conditions in which they were made.

Just buy stuff that isn't a knock off of something else

Dawevi · 20/10/2024 15:47

People are so shitty on here sometimes.

OP, presumably you used a credit card to order, so look into doing a chargeback via your credit card company. I always worry when combining orders into one return, I think it's safer to do them separately, I'm always worried something like this will happen.

Preppingpenguin · 20/10/2024 15:48

Keep on at them, depending on your payment method you could also open a dispute with your bank/PayPal.

I place large orders from Shein quite regularly, actually looking through at the moment, their customer service is a bit slow but I've found they always resolve issues eventually. Nothing I've ever had from them has been bad quality, just either the wrong size/colour or something missing from my order.

No sympathy for buying fast fashion that’s environmentally awful and ethically wrong.

Might have been other items not clothing....
