It's rather spectacular! .

I'll load up a few pics of the inside in a mo, as I know a few people want to have a nose.

It's from this company who make tonnes of amazing bespoke playhouses .

A special thanks to prufrock, who made us aware of this company.

pinkprincesswurly · 14/05/2007 14:30

OMFG it must have cost you a fortune.

2boysmacca · 14/05/2007 14:31

What council tax band is that in?

helbel3 · 14/05/2007 14:32

that is gorgeous, well done hope your little girl has lots of fun in it. you will have to get your interior design mags out now.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/05/2007 14:32

Well it wasn't cheap , but the company does offer good value for money IMO.

compo · 14/05/2007 14:33

just had a look at the website.... feel quite faint at the price
Your dd is a very lucky girl

You do realise you'll have all the neighbours kids round yours for years to come?!!

MarsLady · 14/05/2007 14:33

It's rather gorgeous. Don't know if I'd waste it on my dds though. I can see myself sipping wine in the evenings, reading by a log fire.........

Hulababy · 14/05/2007 14:33

OMG that is massive. DD would love it. Your little one is a very lucky little girl.

compo · 14/05/2007 14:34

mars - I was thinking the same, my dh would take it over as his 'study' lol

Lovely - how old is your dd, Can'tsleep? e aren't buying our next property till dd is about 7, she'll stil love a playhouse, won't she????

prufrock · 14/05/2007 14:37

Wow CSWS - it looks great. We've just painted the inside of ours and laid vinyl floor tiles (I was sick of spilt drink stains on the plywood floor).

compo · 14/05/2007 14:38

dinny - me and my sister still played in our wendy house (loads smaller than this one) until secondary school iirc

DontCallMeBaby · 14/05/2007 14:38

Did you see that thread about horrid people who don't compliment you on your nice stuff, or congratulate you on your success? And everyone concluded it was because they were horribly jealous?

is silentand horribly jealous, obviously

Ah well, I'm going to go and choose one anyway, and never mind that my garden is the size of a very small thing.

Inside pic 2 (blackboard and drop down table).
Inside pic 3 - view down stairs (picnic table isn't part of it, but is sheltering from rain until we paint it!) .

Dinny - my dd is only 15 months! We figure she'll get a lot of years of use out of it this way!

prufrock - dh is organising to get some rubber floor tiles to go in ours - we've suggested to the company that they offer this as an optional extra in future, and I think they are going to look into it.
