Anal sex slip

Name change for this on.
me and DH after a drunken night out had anal /
sex (we have previous done it once or twice) but he then put it from my bum into my vagina!
I didn’t really notice at the time (drunk and at brink of orgasm) but now I’m thinking about it and freaking out ! Bacteria transfer etc…..
is it really bad ? Should I call the GP on Monday ??

I think it is sad. I do hope women who don't want to do anal aren't being pressured into it and that they know full well they can say no.

I don't judge women for doing it, if they like it. Crack on, whatever floats your boat. However, for me, it is a big fat NO. Luckily my DH is not into it, and I'd tell him to GFH anyway.

I guess I am old too. In my day, porn was that cheeky window cleaner or in the office on the photocopier and TBH I didn't watch it, never felt the need. I have found over the years that I can have massive orgasms with the person I love and fancy, without needing an operation afterwards.

If I suddenly found myself single, and I was dating, it is an absolute NO from me. I think I would be very highly suspicious of why a man preferred a back passage to a vagina.

No poster has "reduced this to a prostate discussion".

  • It's funny, as men who get off on anal benefit from the presence of a prostate gland that gives them pleasure, whereas women don't have that.
  • We have no prostate to stimulate via anal sex.

Two examples.

WillyWonkaBlues · 23/10/2023 12:02

Can’t believe any sane woman would participate in something so utterly filthy - literally! That area is for defecation. Have some self respect!

TerribleWoman · 23/10/2023 12:02

Two examples both of which were in the context of mentioning wider issues of consent, sexual pressure etc.

That is not reducing the discussion to a prostate issue. Reducing the discussion means focusing entirely on that one aspect as the only salient feature. No one has done that.

Actually, said that woman, and so say I. It can actually be really good if you stop clutching your pearls for a second.

"Clutching your pearls" on a thread about anal gives it an entirely different meaning 😁

Alondra · 23/10/2023 12:05

Don't worry too much about it. Despite all the glum and doom you'll find on the net, your vagina is wonderful and will deal with the bacteria transfer.

In the case you develop a burning sensation while urinating, make an appointment with your GP. The worse scenario is developing a bacterial infection.

The enjoyment of/preference for it is being queried on the basis of whether or not there's a biological explanation for it.

If you're not a fan, fine. But if you think sexual pleasure needs to have a biological explanation that's as simple as where a specific gland tends to be in the body, then you are, whether you want to admit it or not, reducing the argument.

No, my concern is much wider than that. It's about consent, boundary pushing, pressure, young women's ability to take ownership over their bodies and say no to men who may tell them they are frigid, uncool or vanilla. It's about the genuine endangerment of young women's continence and their dignity.

You need to worry if it goes anus to vagina, not the other way.

It did.

As PPs said usually just a UTI.

If you’re going to have anal sex do not do it when drunk.

At the very least, you have more chance of shitting yourself.
(Unless you’re both into that of course).

Urgh. Just urggghhh.

mushroomushroom · 23/10/2023 12:26

I don't understand why some women are so attached to this that they need to defend practices that are very clearly detrimental to women, because they themselves like doing it.

Like, so what if you like anal sex @Hayley0203, @CallieQ ? Does that change a single thing that @TerribleWoman had said, or that she's quoted? Do you need the whole world to agree with you that what you're doing it totally A-ok and problem-free for all women and girls? Why?

It's like smokers coming along and saying "smoking isn't actually bad for you, I happen to like it, and so do a lot of my friends", like yeah, but so what, that doesn't change the facts 😂 and smokers don't even do that because they can acknowledge that it is bad for your health!

Agree 100% with @TerribleWoman and @EdgeOfACoin
This thread is so depressing

Agreed.

What the hell?? This is not a safe practice. Both my sons know what I think of this. If I found out that they were asking girls/women to do this I’d flay them alive.

JamOnMySkirt · 23/10/2023 13:09

Anal sex - obviously not the occasional mistake - causes permanent damage to a woman’s anal sphincter. This can have terrible effects. This damage cannot be cured by surgery. There is a reason anal sex is a taboo in a civilised culture. There is also increased chance of transfer of bacteria. Men who are into anal sex with women are also first class creeps and should be avoided. I am sorry it is being normalised in pornography as a harmless ‘kink’.

StarlightLady · 23/10/2023 13:43

OP, anal requires significant preparation and is not the sort of thing that happens by mistake.

So am I right in assuming that the anal was planned and the vaginal sex not?

Does your partner, drunk or not drunk, not know that he should not combine the 2 in that order?

So are you saying it's better, and more pro-women, to have one person (you) speak for the preferences of all women?

And no, it doesn't change what "TerribleWoman" has quoted. She's quoted articles that talk about male coercion and porn, both of which I'm against. I can't see a quotation about there being a problem with women having a preference for, nor initiating, anal sex.

I don’t think she’s saying that at all. Just saying how there’s medical evidence to prove how risky it is for women, but if you dare mention it you get hit with the ‘it’s great and I love it and anyone who mentions it’s not safe is a ‘Pearl clutching prude’. As evidenced on this very thread.

Besides, you’d have to be pretty naive to believe everyone in the ‘I love anal me’ posters are actually women.

There's also medical evidence to prove how bad alcohol is for health, how bad lack of sleep is for health, how bad sugar is for health, how bad too much caffeine is for health, how bad a sedentary lifestyle is for health...the list goes on. Saying you enjoy one or more of these things doesn't make you a denier of the detrimental health effects.

Anyway, now that we've reached the new low of suggesting that other female posters are actually men, I think it's time to end the discussion.

Trying to silence women like me based on our sexual preferences, which we have every right to express, is probably the saddest and most anti-women stance I've seen on mumsnet.

EdgeOfACoin · 23/10/2023 14:29

Are we really equating the injuries that can occur from anal sex with the downsides of too much caffeine?

Are you disgusted by oral too? If someone putting a penis or vibrator in your bum is bad you must really gag at people who put their mouths where they pee. Why does enjoying anal mean you've no self respect? Just because it's not something you'd participate in doesn't mean it's wrong.
