Pubes on Men. Or Not?

My DH has normally just trimmed a bit but had been wanting to start shaving his pubes for a while. Last year he really went to town and shaved them all off and says it's much more comfortable so has kept it like this since. I'd probably prefer for him to have a bit of hair down there if possible but I don't mind it like it is at all. What do others like for men, pubes or no pubes. Is shaving it all for men common now?

My DH tried it once I moved fully over to waxing as he seemed to prefer me completely bare. He the shaved fully and has stayed like that since

I like a bit of tidy hair on a man. It wouldn't be a deal breaker but I don't like the look of men completely bare down there.

I hope you'll not mind a man's perspective - at least from this particular man. Each entirely to their own, of course, but it wouldn't be for me personally. I'd feel like I looked ten years old again and I'd probably feel a bit weirded out, tbh.

No hair would be weird and uncool. Definitely trimmed, but not too obvious.

When I see a guy with overly trimmed I just think he's trying to make his cock look bigger.

If you're both totally hairless don't you get a bit friction burn?

@Zanatdy @harrassedmumto3 Given the choice I definitely prefer less rather then more, it doesn't have to be all gone but at the very minimum please shave the balls and trim / shape on top.

My DH has shaved it all for years and says he really prefers it like this and mainly it is much more comfortable for him, it has never been about making anything look bigger! We both wax now and there is no friction burn at all, quite the opposite that things stay much wetter and slide easier with no hair in the way!

My DH has said a few times that he does see more guys now in the gym and swim changing with little to no pubic hair now and it is not uncommon at all.

I trim just slightly for comfort. Wife likes it natural. Once I shaved the balls and she didn't like it at all. The grow back was very uncomfortable

Yeah I must admit definitely felt a bit weird at some points, I think as we had probably both shaved that day (new relationship so still making that kind of effort!). I thought next time I’ll shave a day or 2 before hand (I usually know in advance when I’m seeing him)

I've shaved most off for about 20yrs, absolutely nothing to do with porn or looking bigger! (although growing it long will just make you look shorter as it would just hide length, trimming / shaving just shows the actual length if that was the goal?!) I always shave the balls, so not what a few hairs on there do for anyone and then trim right down the top, not so that it's bare but just neat. Each to their own, I'm sure many have a preference for a lot of hair down there, but I don't on myself or DW. Just regular maintenance a couple of times a week, causes no irritation during sex personally

Responding with a little caution as last time l responded to a similar thread, one or two people did not like the way l responded.

l’ve trimmed and also shaved a few in my time. I prefer short hair or no hair. Not a deal breaker though. I do like a man to be well groomed and if you are going to have it longer, l see no reason why it should not see shampoo, conditioner (softer) and small comb (less unruly and tangled). But most importantly l like clean.

May l digress? Regardless of gender, l do think people are less sweaty if they remove their underarm hair though.

My DW went from a jolly good trim down to baldilocks as did I, DW had problems with something odd going on that then decided to spill out...then we had a proper good shag when my balls where a bit stubbly and DW was rubbed raw somewhat so we've decided to go back to jolly good trim.

My DP has a predilection for oral so trims right down to make the experience more pleasurable for me. I would complain bitterly if I had to deal with hair in my mouth! I have used IPL to remove all of my pubic hair as I have a VCH piercing and like it to be on show!

I've seen my husband with and without and now I much prefer him without any pubes at all. It feels much better for me when he is smooth which he is now and I would love for him to get laser hair removal on the area now.
