Well at least the clash is over. This was the one I was dreading, because it was 2 and a half hours followed immediately by French writing. They did move them from the hall (very hot) for the first exam to the library (cooler) for the French writing. She ran out of time in the first one and therefore reckons she will have got very little for one 9 marker except an introduction (very obscure subject), rest was OK, but we need to discount 9 marks from the off (there are always two 9 markers and one 12). French writing was OK except she couldn't remember the word for really - then remembered it as soon as she was talking to me, which was a bit annoying. Hopefully OK. At least I now feel we have caught up to the rest of you with only three more exams to go (although we don't finish until the 27th).
Thought she would want a lie in tomorrow, but with tomorrow being so hot, she wants to get up super early to walk a husky that she walks regularly for some people we know. I am afraid we are catless, but we do have a (very geriatric now) hamster. We keep being surprised that the hamster is still with us, as while we got her from a rescue home, and they weren't exactly sure how old she was, she had had at least one litter before she came to us, and that was over two years ago. It is DD's hamster, and I have kept worrying that she would wake up and find her dead on the morning of an exam (although DD is very prepared for this, and we know she is very old in hamster terms). But so far she has kept surprising us.
