Trinity/Whitgift/Dulwich College 10+/11+ 2021

Hello,

as mentioned countless times, I found the previous years' threads very useful, so it is now time to start this year's.

DS sat the 11+ reasoning test at DC yesterday. He'll sit the morning slot at trinity and we are awaiting confirmation of assessment date from Whitgift.

DS is remarkably relaxed so far. I, on the other hand, am a little apprehensive about the next few weeks.

How are everyone else's DSs feeling before "the storm"?

Friday is inset day for T so staff will be at school..they might start to call tomorrow.

Plenty will be in today at T as they are doing their student covid testing before school starts on Monday.

Hi all, is anyone here waiting on 10 plus Whitgift

Has anyone heard or spoken to Trinity for 11+ results? Getting a bit concerned as I believe the no emails come out from Monday... The wait is not fun!

We have not heard anything either and also getting ants in my pants. Re reading the last communication from T, they say the candidates not being interviewed will be emailed the week commencing Monday, so that could be a long week. This is stressful. Sympathies…

We're waiting for Whitgift 11+, which is also nerve wracking! Apparently candidates not selected for interview will be emailed "as early as possible" which is wonderfully non-specific..... interviews are scheduled to start on Monday so presumably some have already been invited.

I think I'd find this a lot easier if they gave exact dates of notifications!

DS got an academic enrichment invitation to Whitgift for scholarship assessment which is next week, the email came yesterday.

We are also waiting for 11+ at Trinity. Getting really anxious. So if you've applied for sports scholarship and haven't heard anything from them by Friday you have to contact them. Is this correct? As sports assessments are on Monday 17th. Getting confused which isn't hard x

Still waiting for results from T and DC.. the weekend is going to be very long…

Don't imagine DC will be before Monday. There were boys sitting 11+ there yesterday (covid catch up)

DC said that they will be sending emails on Monday.

Whitgift have emailed to invite for interview, anxiety halved. Good luck to all and have a good weekend

Hallo!! I have just been directed here, so anxiously waiting that I can't even enjoy my weekend :( ridiculous really

No one I know has heard back from T, so there's still hope! Maybe they will continue to call next week and send the rejection emails towards end of week

We luckily heard back from every single one of the boarding schools on the date they promised. I hate vagueness!

@boarding23145 thanks thats the one we are anxious about DS keeps asking too as he felt he did well. Oh well keeping everything crossed for next week

Joining you all in this painful waiting.
Received interview invite for whitgift nothing yet for T.

The email I have says

"If your son has not done well enough in the examinations to be called for interview, then you will be sent an email week commencing Monday 10th January."

So we may have a full week more of nail biting :(

Still, I'm very glad for this thread and knowing I'm not the only one waiting.
