Trinity/Whitgift/Dulwich College 10+/11+ 2021

Hello,

as mentioned countless times, I found the previous years' threads very useful, so it is now time to start this year's.

DS sat the 11+ reasoning test at DC yesterday. He'll sit the morning slot at trinity and we are awaiting confirmation of assessment date from Whitgift.

DS is remarkably relaxed so far. I, on the other hand, am a little apprehensive about the next few weeks.

How are everyone else's DSs feeling before "the storm"?

@spanishmum2 We didn’t get any email from DC yet - perhaps they prioritise those who will get an offer? Or am I reading too much into this? So fed up with this whole process!!

@Gladwhenitsover I did not receive it either! Now I start to wonder.....

Oh, I just emailed the school to see if we’d get the results today or tomorrow and that is what they answered. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow

Spanishmum2 What time did DC send you email? I haven’t got any which makes me nervous 😟

@silver12 she said it was a reply to her enquiry. We'll all get emails tomorrow.

I like that idea! Sadly W doesn't have an online system (I don't think, although someone please tell me if I'm wrong!). We currently have a waitlist place at another school, so nerves in shreds for the morning!

Nothing on DC or T's application portals. I''m going to take that to mean they haven't posted anything rather than DS hasn't gotten in.

I think they all agree that the news should be released on the 11th so anyone breaking this would be on the naughty list :D

I’ve logged on to my portals too and I can’t find anything. I guess just wait and see. Good luck everyone

I sadly cannot recall exactly which school of 4 schools we were waiting /stalking, however few fellow mums attempted the portal in desperation last year (either night prior or morning of and spotted acceptance.. quickly followed by a school email.

Was that by post. We still have Christmas cards trickling in as sorting office was struck by huge covid staffing shortages so not holding my breath for that one.
