Trinity/Whitgift/Dulwich College 10+/11+ 2021

Hello,

as mentioned countless times, I found the previous years' threads very useful, so it is now time to start this year's.

DS sat the 11+ reasoning test at DC yesterday. He'll sit the morning slot at trinity and we are awaiting confirmation of assessment date from Whitgift.

DS is remarkably relaxed so far. I, on the other hand, am a little apprehensive about the next few weeks.

How are everyone else's DSs feeling before "the storm"?

Does anyone know when Dulwich College make their offers? And will it come by email?

Dulwich foundation schools send out offers on Thursday. Not sure whether DC will email or send by post though.

From experience last year offer timelines as follows:
W: ~8am email
T: ~8.30 am e-mail
DC ~ 10am email & 1st class post.

Webinars and offers day 22 - 27th with acceptances and deposits confirmed by 5th March.

Hi MrsHGWells, thanks for that insight. Is that all 3 schools offer timeline expected on Friday or Thursday? Or a mix of days for various schools? Sorry to try to pin you down and I completely understand you can only comment on previous years, but the shattered remains of my nerves are reshattering this week. Thanks heaps

Offer day last year Friday 12th. From
In our experience, all three schools offered well within advised timeline of midday, which in all honestly saved a day of hellish torture as my nerves were already shredded. Admissions teams equally want letters out for a Friday lunch away from ringing phones.

Good luck everyone! Cannot wait for the end of the week. Good to know emails come through so early in the morning so I won't need to check my emails during work all day long!
T and DC should be Thursday while W on Friday.

Yes definitely Friday.

Good Luck everyone, anyone with and interview waiting on an offer has got a very good chance. We have speculated on the numbers but no one really knows! It might be a lot more favourable and we have nothing to worry about….

Admissions at Whitgift have said by close of business Friday the 11th so I assume Friday is the day they send the outcomes.

Trinity will post offers tomorrow and email on Friday as well.

Our first offers started coming through. Yes to Royal Russell and a no from Caterham. My last lot of schools are tomorrow.

I though so, but the website says they are posterd out today. So I guess they will email tomorrow? Nervewracking.

I just got this email from Dulwich college:
“A letter posted today and an email sent tomorrow.”

We’ll have to wait one more day
