Anyone else itching for tonight/tomorrow?

Were in Essex and DD passed 11+ in catchment for two grammars so we know it's option one or two but I'm still desperate to know- DD has her heart set on our first choice.

Her friendship group (and my mum friendship group!) have applied for four different schools as first choice so we're not worried about being with friends etc.

Trying to keep myself busy. I've been logging on online to the council portal all day but it just keeps saying no messages yet.
Aaaagh my nerves have gone now!

Off to get a shower and sort washing for tomorrow to kill some time. Dh thinks I'm bonkers

I've logged on but no different, we are in a London Borough so I know from PP's that it will come tomorrow but my nerves are shot and I'm being impatient! After tomorrow the real nerves start though! Not long to go! Good luck to us all! Fingers crossed for everyone!

Our LA website has crashed. I went on earlier and had to change my password, but now you can't get on.

It’s tough when your kid doesn’t get their choice.

I'm so nervous. I only put one choice down and we are out of catchment.

Our catchment school is really very awful, it's been requires improvement for 4 years now. Only a handful of children actually go there - the kids too far out to get a place someplace else (us probably) and the few children in this village and the next whose parents don't seem to mind (they went to the school themselves). Honestly I'd Home school before I'd send him there.

I don't know what I'll do if we don't get our 1st (and only) choice. Appeal I guess.

I absolutely was not going to do this. I was going to wait until breakfast, open an email with a calm expression on my face and with fingers that were not shaking.

And yet here I am! I was about to go to bed at 11.15pm and then decided that midnight was so close that I would make a cup of tea and see what I can find out when the first few minutes of March 1st arrive. The LA website just gives the date, no idea of time. My heart is pounding!

Our first choice that is not guaranteed (competitive grammar) and a second choice that is 50/50 (catchment but over-subscribed and we're on the edge of the area). Getting the third choice feels like a poor outcome but I think that's just a psychological thing. It would probably be fine. If DC hadn't fluked a pass in the 11+, I'd be a lot more chilled!

Where have the last 11 years gone?

Ive managed to get into his email to change the log in, I cant wait!

Our offer there too. 1st choice, but it was a certainty.

@Budsbegginingspringinsight there was a view offer link with the initial application for me.

We got our first choice too- DD will be thrilled in the morning

buds I'm guessing the systems are all similar, mine changed from Application submitted to place offered. Just a small tab in the corner of the details box.
