It wasn't even on the main news

Quite. I agree. I have been on this board sporadically for a decade or more, commenting on various topics, usually not this one.

To those posters who seek to minimise the distress and grief that that terrorism has caused innocent civilians. Imagine if it was your sister or grandchild.

The above in response to @SharonEllis

I've been on mn for ages. You seem to have a conspiracist frame of mind! Noone who is crticising your position is trying to shut down discussion - far from it. There are lotd of us who have tried to open it up, particularly asking the question, what should Israel do in response to people who violently rape, torture, behead, disembowel, burn alive and kidnap jews? To which we haven't had an answer, except variations on 'roll over'.

The question of what Israel should do is the key question because you and others are protesting against them and in favour of Hamas/Palestinians. You can't then wash your hands and say you don't want to hear about what the terrorists did to tbose Jewish people & shrug your shoulders and say you're not a politician. You have taken a political stance by protesting after all.

No I don't like saying what the terrorists did. In fact I can't read the full report from that press conference as it is too horrific & I can't watch much footage of any of the death & destruction as its very upsetting & distressing. However turning away & wringing our hands is a luxury people there, in all sides, don't have so we do need to focus on the reality of what happened. You do need to read at least some of what happened. Individual terrorists attacking & torturing individuals face to face, one on one, and ringing their mum to celebrate is a materially different act to people dying in 'normal' military activity, however awful every death is. This is why we have rules about war. Yes its absolutely horrific that Hamas encourages/allows its civilians to be collateral damage. Its very distressing and Hamas are monsters.

@SharonEllis, We need to agree to disagree here, its going round in circles. What happens next will happen regardless. I'm not willing to keep batting back and forward. I feel you aren't listening and you feel I'm not listening. It is what it is.

I'm yet to hear from anyone who seen much coverage on the news about this march. I'm finding the media so divided on this conflict. I guess they tell us what they want us to know.

Exactly this.

I don't know anything about either of them, I just found it interesting.

Marches are rarely given much coverage unless they make some sort of significant political impact. Pro Palestine demos are the bread and butter of left wing politics. Not particularly newsworthy.

Was that to me?? I didn't protest. But i fully accept their right to protest and i agree with the people marching peacefully.
I was just surprised it wasn't more news worthy. It was to me.

Any thought for the terror inflicted on the innocent 1400 Israelis butchered by Hamas? I find this really disturbing, that the horror of those attacks is seemingly forgotten.

ridiculous also that Israeli illegal settlers steal Palestinian land and build cages. This is how ILLEGAL SETTLERS steal land and IDF have a prison for all the kidnapped Palestinian CHILDREN

I love that our elected leader dismisses those that don't support terrorists as haters

And in such a professional way

Do you have a source for that that isn't Instagram?

This has been going on for years.

I first became interested in the situation after watching a documentary in 2003.
