Well much as I disagree with Jezza on everything it was incredibly disrespectful. Macron was sabre rattling today as well. Very worrying.

It’s official Gaza healthcare system has collapsed. No water, no power, no medicines left. Those babies on ventilators will die today. This is an international war crime that our PM is standing by. It makes me sick.

I just can't deal with it especially as there is nothing we can do as individuals. despite this, for the last week I have been dreaming that I had been walking through the rubble and dead bodies in gaza...

Agreed, it's too much for me too, however we aren't the ones having to live through it. I can't imagine going to sleep each night not knowing if you are your children will be killed by a bomb from the sky, starve or die of thirst.

Again people focus solely on Israel's response to the massacre. If they stopped and never bombed again, if they halved their military, do any of you think that would bring peace? This is simplistic thinking and it won't work, it'll just make jewish people in Israel more at risk. Why do you think they have that military? Because people around them what them dead.

We want people to be left alone to live in peace, all people, in both Israel and Palestine.

I don't think anyone here would disagree. So, what is your solution to bring this peace? Because there are two sides contributing here.

I really don't understand how you can type that. Really. How many times do posters have to say for you to accept the words? BOTH SIDES are and have behaved appallingly and what is happening to innocent people is wrong. I have said this many times. How is that ignoring anything??? You make no sense.
So now why aren't you answering the question being asked? Because you blame Israel solely and you don't give a toss what is happening to jewish people as a result of this, including because of the marches.

I don’t agree with marching for the Palestinians. All it does is encourage anntisemitism and the press and politicians ignore it anyway. A strong diplomatic effort is what’s really needed to de-escalate the war, protect civilians and lead a process towards peace.

Are Jewish people being controlled by Palestine and not allowed to freely move and travel?
Are Jewish people being bombed and murdered in their sleep?
Are Jewish people being stripped of their basic human needs?
Have Jewish people had their water turned off?
Have Jewish people had their electricity turned off?
Have Jewish people had their medicines stopped? Their life saving cancer treatment stopped?
Have Jewish babies in NICU just had their incubators turned off?
Have Jewish people no longer got access to food, clothing, shoes, a bed?
Have Jewish people had their homes and land torched for the last 75 years?

You are hell bent on asking for a solution. The majority want peace which means a two state solution. However Hamas has over the years convinced the Israeli government (not that it needs much convincing) that a two state solution is not possible. The people of Israel and Palestine want a two state solution, but that would not benefit the Israel government, or Europe, or Canada or the US. So now we protest. We protest until we bleed for our governments to listen, because that is all that we can do.
