Sounds about right. If they decide it is not worth pursuing they will create a record of a non-crime-hate-incident for you anyway which they won’t tell you about or in anyway give you a chance to defend youself. Might come up on an enhanced disclosure check though…

So police Scotland have said that they will stop investigating some minor crimes, but have pledged to investigate in full these hate crime reports. 🤯. These people are totally and utterly insane!

I posted way back Aberdeen was first to be trialled with the not investigating certain crimes, funnily enough an uptick in graffiti, anti social behaviour particularly in the city centre with teens travelling in with their free bus passes but according to police Scotland everything is fine and it's been a success...no it hasn't the populace of Aberdeen have eyes it's ended up in mayhem.

It was embarrassing to watch on the news - my toes were curling. His nose was growing with every word that came out of his mouth and it was interesting to hear him talk about the economy when he seems to spend his time obsessing about the rights of men to use female spaces.
