I’m still concerned that Nicola Sturgeon will get away with this.
How does she have the brass neck to show her face?
She has overseen this total shitshow for years.
For the first time in my life, I’m embarrassed to be Scottish and not just because of the utter half wits that make up the Scottish Govt but because of the people I know, friends and family who appear to be defending them still.
Or there’s the deafening silence where we talk about every topic under the sun rather than total shambles which is Holyrood.
Like a couple of other posters, I’m related to an SNP politician.
He’s a nice guy, good fun and happy memories of us as children but he has zero academic qualifications, was brought up in an anti English environment with a massive chip on all their shoulders.
Absolutely no idea how to run a business, no experience of project management and a very shaky idea of how the economy works.
I believe he’s one of the SNP’s more talented politicians.
I knew the calibre within the SNP was poor but every day I’m shocked at how amateur, lacking in accountability, lazy, disingenuous, dishonest and embarrassing the SNP MPs and MSPs are.
For me, it’s the ferry scandal that’s one of the worst aspects of this.
Who goes to a half built ship with painted windows and pretends it’s ready to provide a service to the islands?
What did Sturgeon and co do after that charade?
Get in the car and say that was a right good day out?
How could any of them sleep?
Why weren’t there rockets up folks arses to get this fixed?
It’s the sheer failure, lack of ambition, dishonesty that I cannot stand.
It’s utterly shameful.
Any other person, in any other job would be sacked and quite rightly.
Instead of which the gravy train kept chugging along.
I was brought up in a house where robust debate was expected and enjoyed, where different points of view were listened to a respected but quite honestly if I encounter anyone who continues to vote SNP after all of this, I will view them as stupid, deluded, buttoned up the back and best avoided.
It’s such a pity that a significant chunk of the Scottish electorate fall in to that category.
