SNP stance on pensions

The SNP - in all of its past independence propositions - have been wildly optimistic, but with their latest stance on pensions they have moved to actually gaslighting their supporters. I just cannot comprehend it.

In 2014 the independence white paper stated that after independence, Indy Scotland would pay Scottish pensions. They seem to now be saying that following independence the rest of the UK (I.e. England, Wales and Northern Ireland) will be responsible for paying Scottish pensions, which is just not at all true. Never has been, never will be. I find it just unfathomable. Trying to actually gaslight the electorate???

Let’s hope the wheels are coming off the independence bus . Interesting
the comment that majority of supporters have least to loose . That’s why they don’t want the benefits devolved here as a lot of their support would disappear overnight - along with the promise of improved pensions .

See the SNP are still refusing to publish the damning OECD report into standard of Scottish education . They are re writing it to make it less censorious. Thus a “ decline in maths and science “ .
became remained “stable in maths and science .”

Absolute nonsense. It was published months ago.

Well the wheels are coming off the census, basically anyone can say anything on the Scottish census and it’s “ all in good faith” ! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Apologies if I have misread this but Times stated yesterday they have reported SG to the information commissioner for refusing to publish the report . A Scottish govt spokeswoman said “ we are liaising with the Scottish information commissioner on the ongoing FOI appeal “ ,

An international review of Scotlands curriculum was censored to downplay a lack of transparency and confusion at all levels of the education system .

@annabelindajane I also read the article. It is the original draft that they are refusing to publish. From what I could gather, the SQA has already made it available somewhere with their comments in response.

This report? The Times must have made up the article then. www.thetimes.co.uk/article/snp-says-global-relations-at-risk-if-curriculum-for-excellence-report-published-in-full-qwrgwk630

Hmm, I've read the report and the one published in 2015, it's not letting me paste it here but you can Google it
