As in a good night, not going to bed just yet 😂

We watched the game randomly. The kids enjoyed it!

Groovee · 29/06/2021 19:31

@riverrunning

Definitely see an increase in twitchiness on Twitter - I hear more drop in clinics operating for second jabs in Edinburgh - what's the smallest reliable interval you can get the second jab in, is it 8 weeks or can it be less?

We are just nudging 7 weeks tomorrow and I'd like dh to get it done ASAP.

I noticed on fb that the answer from nhs was 8 weeks.

I had a lovely day. I had a massage at Gleneagles thanks to an amazing friend. Then we had lunch. It felt so normal. Lots of families there. Doing family things.

Weather was amazing. Exhausted now.

Scottishskifun · 29/06/2021 20:11

Well deserved and earned pamper @groovee! Glad you had a lovely day 😊

runningpink · 29/06/2021 20:17

Iv just been at an outdoor class! I am one sweaty yucky blob right now! The heat made it so hard!

I really hope you can get some help via NHS at some point @Scottishskifun you shouldn’t have to keep stumping up the cash

WouldBeGood · 29/06/2021 20:25

Oh, well done @runningpink! 💪

runningpink · 29/06/2021 20:34

I’m glad I have found something new to do so it’s worth the sweaty mess! 😊

I did ditch running today though as can’t do it in this heat. Will go out first thing tomorrow instead

Are you still going to the gym/classes @WouldBeGood?

WouldBeGood · 29/06/2021 20:38

Yes, I am! I’ve been pretty good! Combat in the morning- could be warm 😱

Ds nursery closed due to a covid case Sad we've got a couple of play dates and a birthday party this week so it's not too bad I suppose. Shame for the parents who won't have childcare now. There's only a small number of children who need to isolate so I'm assuming they don't have enough staff to stay open.

WouldBeGood · 30/06/2021 08:45

Oh, that’s a bugger @shouldistop

It's the first time so we've been lucky I think. He only has 4 weeks left too so it's a shame he's missing some of his time.
Been organising his 5th birthday party for later in the summer, rsvps rolling in, bouncy castle, face painter & balloon twister booked for the garden. Pray for dry weather! I'm just as excited as him!

Ladylunchalot · 30/06/2021 09:10

On holiday in Yorkshire and the weather is pish, so annoying knowing that we've left a bloody heatwave.

Haudyourwheesht · 30/06/2021 09:43

I love how Humza is blaming the football for cases being high. That way he can point to Scotland being out as a reason for the alleged drop in cases and completely ignore the fact that IT IS THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! Schools go back, cases go up, schools break up, cases go down. But the SG stick their heads in the sand and ignore. Nothing to see here, boys. Look -
Football!

I'm not for a second saying schools shouldn't have been back, but ignoring the CLEAR link is nonsense.

Scottishskifun · 30/06/2021 11:08

Bahaha don't forget that a week ago they said case rises weren't a result of the football though....... 🙄

titsintiers · 30/06/2021 14:22

I hate when that happens, nothing else to do except get to the pub 🥂
Groovee · 30/06/2021 15:07

I'm not convinced lots of children who have tested positive went to the football.

Ladylunchalot · 30/06/2021 15:15

@titsintiers nah no such luck, half thinking of coming home early tomorrow instead of Friday to catch the good weather back home Grin

SoMuchForSummerLove · 30/06/2021 15:18

@Groovee

I'm not convinced lots of children who have tested positive went to the football.
Loads of their dads/brothers/uncles etc probably did though, I guess.
Scottishskifun · 30/06/2021 15:52

DH said there are two main cluster outbreaks currently football related and school related. Both of which have ended up with community transmission too!

Plus side track and trace is very very busy so it's only direct contacts being contacted perfect time to get away with a meal out and not get contacted just for being somewhere! Although finding somewhere maybe a issue as loads of places in our area are closed due to staff covid!

WouldBeGood · 30/06/2021 15:54

I think there’s been loads of testing too, owing to holidays, and people’s perverse desire to test 😃

Guys... what should I buy ds's nursery teachers for him leaving? I asked ds and he said "lots and lots of chocolate" - is that as good as anything?
