Yes, I think (hope) it's just her usual one. She seems to do the podium ones on Friday now. If it was any big announcement surely she'd at least try to do it to Parliament, or have a big evening slot (just before the football to really boost everyone's mood? )

We are sort of going to the pub but we are in England, they are shutting at 9 so I think we might return to the lodge for kick off, don't want to embarrass the locals with our loud celebrations when we are 4 nil up at half time :)

We are not really a football supporting family but exceptions must be made.

Regardless of the final score, I hope its an entertaining game.

I am booked to go to London in 10 days time I am now slightly worried that Nicola will kaibosh that as well

I swear the Scottish Government's Covid strategy is to see where I have booked flights to and then ban them. I've never been to Manchester in my life, but will be (hopefully if it isn't bloody cancelled) flying to the airport in 2 weeks so my sister can pick me up and take me to Yorkshire. I have no intention of visiting the city, but I'm bloody sick of rearranging travel having had Christmas and April flights to see family cancelled.

The plus side of our inevitable early exit will be that there will be less of the song @SoMuchForSummerLove….

Not that I'm planning travelling to Manchester, just that it seems odd! Especially when Scotland has higher cases numbers than most other areas

I would have thought it more likely be other way round with other areas of uk being banned from travelling to Scotland with our rates recently 🤷🏼‍♀️
