Cybernats seem to be out in force all of a sudden.

RaindropsSplashRainbows · 22/03/2021 20:55

The leader of the opposition?

Oh look a squirrel!🐿️

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 20:56

And the leader of our government might like to focus on those as well instead of a personal crusade against her erstwhile mentor and a another referendum? And I’d like to see the OECD report on education?

What a shower

snowcoveredcampsies · 22/03/2021 20:57

@WaxOnFeckOff

You've clearly got a better memory than me.
Yeah I generally do remember when strangers on the internet accuse me of stuff and pull out my old usernames to be fair. It's very surreal.
StarryEyeSurprise · 22/03/2021 20:57

Huh?
RaindropsSplashRainbows · 22/03/2021 21:02

I don't want to see the oecd report.
I predict depression and the longer days have been cheering me up.

MuffinsandBrownies · 22/03/2021 21:03

Covid, jobs, the economy.
Let’s chuck vaccination rollout, education and infrastructure projects into the equation too.

Thankfully the SNP has done such an outstanding job, there’s no need to discuss any of that boring stuff.

Much more exciting things to focus on as the country staggers through the pandemic.
Indeyref 2.

You can find the last OECD report on education in Scotland fairly easily online . It was published in '15 and there's been no big changes since then. I tried to copy the link for you but it's just downloading to my phone so not working but just Google it if you're interested.
RaindropsSplashRainbows · 22/03/2021 21:04

Ah that's a sweet move, 2015.

Wakeupin2022 · 22/03/2021 21:05

I don't think it's illegal or treason to not support the SNP - not yet anyway?

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 21:05

The new report the SG are not releasing until after the election.

As you know 🙄

RaindropsSplashRainbows · 22/03/2021 21:05

More spammy links to come, whoopee.

Yes!! Exciting times!
RaindropsSplashRainbows · 22/03/2021 21:06

Think I'll go wash my hair.

RaindropsSplashRainbows · 22/03/2021 21:06

Cross post but quite apt!

Did anyone say it was? 🤔
Bytheloch · 22/03/2021 21:10

Cybernats got a contract renewal today I see. Welcome back, you’ve not been missed.

StarryEyeSurprise · 22/03/2021 21:13

@RaindropsSplashRainbows

Ah that's a sweet move, 2015.
Are you a teacher? If you are, you'll know the Cfe was in place in '15. Despite that fact, people appear to have a (quite frankly baffling) belief that the OECD and the SG are in cahoots to hold back a report which rips apart the Scottish curriculum.

I don't think it's against the rules to state one's issues with the Tories. Yet on Mumsnet, every time anyone does this, they're accused of being 'cybernats'. Quite sad. We teach the children to be better than that.

MuffinsandBrownies · 22/03/2021 21:14

I genuinely don’t understand how SNP supporters who purport to love Scotland can be anything but bitterly disappointed in the performance of their party.
The sheer amount of sleaze and incompetence, apart from anything else.

I get that you’re delighted Sturgeon has somehow or other been cleared by Hamilton and that some folk seek Independence but surely it’s a pretty hollow celebration.

If supporters cannot see any flaws in the current system, that’s what truly terrifies me about Nationalism.

( anyway, I think I might be on the wrong thread. Losing track)
Off to watch Line of Duty from last night which is way easier to follow than the shit show that is Scottish politics.

GreenlandTheMovie · 22/03/2021 21:16

Yes, popped out again, back telling us what to do, where to go and how to think.

I did actually get harassed by a cybernat in real life once. He didn't harass me in a SNP sense - he shouted at me for running along a pavement for some reason - but I recognised him when he came leafletting around my estate where I then lived, and then coincidentally, I saw an article about leading cybernats in the paper and recognised him from there again!

He was unemployed, living with his parents, in his late fifties and English. One of the most virulent cybernats online apparently.

icanboogieboogiewoogie · 22/03/2021 21:16

The so-called 'cybernats' on this thread (I assume) have been here all along so any suggestion that they've just arrived with today's news is nonsense. Name calling just shuts down debate, on either side.

Scottishskifun · 22/03/2021 21:19

Anyway, after the findings of today's report, the leader of the opposition MIGHT find something else to focus on in PMQs. You know - the economy, covid, jobs. 🤞

Brilliant could you ask the FM to do the same would really appreciate it as the o ly thing I want to know about is jobs, economy and health!

snowcoveredcampsies · 22/03/2021 21:22

Really nobody is telling you what to do or think. As ever, we're just here in the minority disagreeing with you and offering an alternative view. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think some folk are maybe just very upset that NS has been exonerated and Indyref2 is in the footing. Recent poll has independence just nudging it as well. I'm feeling pretty good for a Monday. Not going to lie. Grin

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 21:24

@StarryEyeSurprise I have no love of the Toryes either, and I’m really bored of any dislike of the SNP and their doings being put down to pro Tory feeling, it’s possible to dislike all corrupt parties, and different policies.
