Any appetite for a continuance or have I missed the new thread?
There was quite a heated squabble respectful exchange of views so I am sure there is more to be said......

I am NOT saying that agression would be from any SIDE.

I am just saying that what she is doing is NOT safe for anyone in scotland and I believe it is LIKELY to cause problems in N ireland which makes me extremely pissed off.

WE HAVE NO JUSTIFICATION IN SCOTLAND FOR STIRRING THIS SHIT!!!

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/03/2017 15:01

believe it is LIKELY to cause problems in N ireland

If so Brexit that is likely to cause problems in NI...

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/03/2017 15:01

It is...

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:02

Westminster on lock down - knife wielding man, car mows down several people, shots fired ...

BaggyCheeks · 22/03/2017 15:03

I think Brexit is going to cause problems all over the UK, but yes it'll cause particular problems in NI.

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:04

Live coverage of what's happening right now ...

Was looking at that Fontella SadSad

I have read and enjoyed every single post on this (and the previous) thread.

I respect the position and personal beliefs of each pp, even if I don't agree with 50% of them!

As far as I am concerned, anything that promotes and engages discussion (at long last, we have been sleepwalking politically for generations) among grassroots voters is of benefit to holding our politicians and whatever Government is in power to account. This is what Ref1, Brexit, and a possible Ref2 has done.

Despite the inflated rhetoric, false claims, disinformation, political shenanigans, and 'woe is me' claims, from both sides, at least we all had/have a vote say.

I remain good friends with both 'yes' and 'no' voters since before and post 2014. The hysterical fringe can fuck right off and grow up. Nobody will die, and we live in interesting times.

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:07

At least Policeman definitely stabbed, and the knifeman shot by armed police. Also definite casualties on Westminster Bridge - eye witness saw at least 'five mown down' by car.

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:07

At least ONE policeman ...

Thegruffalowswife · 22/03/2017 15:08

Gid help you, for what you see as a worthy cause now may not be so worthy when the consequences are out of your hands.

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:09

Quentin Letts, whose office overlooked the incident, gave a detailed account. Says police were 'incredibly quick' to respond - so that at least, is a relief.

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:10

This is going to knock the SNP off the headlines that's for sure .....

Parliament on lockdown and sittings suspended.

Calyx72 · 22/03/2017 15:13

I'm looking on Twitter and it's awful😱

Thegruffalowswife · 22/03/2017 15:14

Oh my God. What the hell is going on. Just watched the news Sad It is terrible what is going on in westminster. Has anyone made claim to it? Horrible horrible unspeakable violence.

Thegruffalowswife · 22/03/2017 15:16

No cause justifies it ever

Fontella · 22/03/2017 15:35

Is it for appropriate for Holyrood to continue debating given the situation in Westminster right now? Scottish MPs are caught up in this as well?

Thegruffalowswife · 22/03/2017 15:37

No doubt she'll prattle on.

Thegruffalowswife · 22/03/2017 15:38

They were not there...ofcourse

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/03/2017 15:40

There's a massive debate raging on Twitter about that. I hold the (minority) opinion that they should absolutely continue. That's what terrorists want, to disrupt every day business, it all adds to the fear and helps them win. HoC should get back to what they are doing as well (if safe)

Of course what has happened is sad and horrific, but assuming that it is deemed safe to do so, if life does not go on as normal, the terrorists win.

Thegruffalowswife · 22/03/2017 15:41

I'm off this for a while sorry.

Calyx72 · 22/03/2017 15:47

Agreed Itsall, me too.

Y0uCann0tBeSer10us · 22/03/2017 15:52

Surely it's inappropriate to carry on when the Westminster parliament is undergoing a terrorist incident?
