Any help very gratefully received.

We'd like 4 beds, large rooms if possible (or potential to knock rooms through, maybe extend).

Has to be semi-rural, no close neighbours, ideally a converted steading or similar.

Don't mind a bit of doing-up, but really don't want to rip things out that I hate but are seen as 'features' by estate agents (Aga, wood burning stoves, that sort of thing).

Ideally within 20 minutes or so of Stirling University.

I've checked Dunblane, Bridge of Allan, Auchterarder, Dollar - not sure where else I should look as I suspect the place I want maybe won't have an actual town name if that makes sense.

Thank you Smile.

If you open the brochure it gives you all the measurements though it takes a while to work out which room is which in the photos - i do wish they's label each photo so you know which room it is.

I've no links to properties but what about just outside auchterarder - Tullibardine to Muthill has a few isolated properties but still within 10 minutes drive if auchterarder. I'm sure I saw a steading or small holding cottage for sale.

there's also findo gask area, maybe a few miles from A9 but not a quick road.

Dunning? Some conversions there but with neighbours.

Kinkel bridge - I thought there was a for sale sign there but I'd watch out for flooding.

Look at Next Homes estate agents - they have the auchterarder/Crieff/Dunning to Perth area sewn up.

gleneagles train station has been done up and go direct to BofA/Dunblane/Stirling and Glasgow in morning and evening.

If you're looking in auchterarder area I'd make sure of having some sort if stove if not on the gas grid - essential in winter if the power goes off.

This one in Auchterarder might have neighbours that are too close for your requirements but it really is very quiet and has large gardens. It is very close to Gleneagles.

It has an Aga Wink - and lots of out buildings prime for extending into.

I know the house through a friend of the family.

I know one of the owners
