Dearly Be-Chucked, we are gathered here today because, for whatever reason, our man has dumped us!

Hmmmm bummer starting. Glad pink is all sorted.

I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. So I don't whether that is why I've had no probs

How is everyone anyway?

pinksmarties · 26/04/2010 21:00

It just went bad again........and now ok........this is exhausting........makes me realise what an addict I've become.......

startingovernow · 26/04/2010 21:02

Thanks Pink just got sorted. Really weird that it happened to us both at the same time. Have stuff to do now but will log back in later.

Hi Happy, all work, no play........... Hope you're taking time out for yourself too.

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 26/04/2010 22:49

trying and failing on that front I'm afraid!

ChairmumMiaowGoingItAlone · 27/04/2010 07:34

Morning all - no problems with the site here I'm afraid.

Am knackered and busy at the moment so don't seem to be able to find time to sit down and post properly. Will probably be Friday / saturday before I get some proper peace and quiet, as I keep doing stuff when H has DS, and I'm desperately trying to get all my work finished while DS is at nursery (time is running out for some of that stuff)

teaandcakeplease · 28/04/2010 21:12

Damn mumsnet sometimes! Just had someone say something horrible to me on another thread that was totally unnecessary. Hidden thread now!

Note to self do not lurk into the wide world of mumsnet!

How is everyone, things have been soooo quiet on here lately.

Signed and returned divorce petition today. It was full of inaccuracies though that I corrected, so I suspect it maybe re-issued again to me. Does anyone know the turn around time I can expect on divorce going through on average?

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 28/04/2010 23:57

my world a little quieter now so should be back posting a bit more

Tea - not sure now long these things take sorry

Waves to all......hope life is going well for everyone. Ran out of steam a bit on the whole cleaning front & finding it hard to get started again! Joined a support group this morn so feeling positive about that. Hair apt booked Tea! Hairdresser knocked baby blond on the head lol but have settled for rich warm base colour & highlights through it . Have delayed apt as I want to look radiant for pending court case .

My tip for the day, have just invested in a bottle of witch hazel & rose water. My mother has been using witch hazel for some time (on her face) & swears by it. Am going to give it a try so said I'd pass on the tip. You can use either of them as a cleanser/toner.

startingovernow · 29/04/2010 14:50

Just re-read my post & sounds like the support group was for the cleaning lol! It's a woman's aid group, not for cleaning support !

startingovernow · 29/04/2010 14:51

Chairmum, I've been thinking about you & wondering when your due date is?? Must be approaching soon.

teaandcakeplease · 29/04/2010 14:57

Starting it sounds like a lovely hair colour

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 29/04/2010 19:05

Nice idea on the hair Starting - sounds like an ideal move for serenity.

I'll be getting my moustache and eyebrows done soon also which should be equally serendipitous .

I think the beauty (where is she anyway?) and hair treatments are good for us all. I have also been lighting a smelly candle in my bedroom which is luverly.....

Just seeking soulful quotes ladies and found this one.........

Interesting methinks...

Why do you hasten to remove anything which hurts your eye, while if something affects your soul you postpone the cure until next year? ~Horace

Not sure I'm too good at either but my sink is clean now . I'm working on it.

OP posts:
teaandcakeplease · 29/04/2010 19:50

I'd like to add a soulful quote but all I have is the little mermaid in my head

up where they run
up where they walk
up where they play all day in the sun....

startingovernow · 29/04/2010 23:15

Happy, that just gave me a great laugh, getting moustache & eyebrows done . Love the quote. I'm also burning smelly candles in my lovely sparkling clean bedroom . Another tip from me bergamot oil is great in an oil burner for uplifting your mood, good for depression, grief & general just making you feel good. Or a few drops on pillow at night. Lavander good for everything also. I use loads of oils either in the bath, burning or bed & find them great. Ok, that's my tips for the day well & truely covered .

ChairmumMiaowGoingItAlone · 30/04/2010 12:16

Hi all,

I have been popping in but I've just had a hectic week and I feel exhausted. I'll catch up properly tomorrow at some point once H has DS (sat afternoon till Monday morning and I may well sleep for most of that!)

I'm due on June 11th, so really not that long to go!

DutchGirly · 30/04/2010 12:42

Hello,

Back with baby blonde hair! Went to event yesterday with free drinks and got lots of compliments which was really nice.

Did drink tiny bit too much as had nothing to eat but it was lots of fun.

teaandcakeplease · 30/04/2010 13:18

Good for you last night. Sounds like you had a great time.

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 01/05/2010 14:22

Hi blondes >

I guess mine is blondeish....

Awaiting dreaded rain that has been forecast but not here yet so will garden...

OP posts:
startingovernow · 01/05/2010 19:03

Waves to all, mmm...seems like blondes do get all the attention! Will have to ask hairdresser to reconsider .

Chairmum, great that you are getting plenty of rest. It's going to fly till new arrival comes .

Quote for the day

"Challenges in life come in three broad categories : easy, difficult and impossible. Those who take on only the easy have a safe and boring life. Those who take on the difficult have a tough but satisfying life. Those who take on the impossible are remembered."

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:30

mmmm now my post should have said blondes not blindes!

Good quote Starting, I'm hoping that mine is difficult but not impossible!

Now I really don't think (honestly and I mean that) that there is really anything going on here but none the less there is just something that is a bit funny here.

Have weekly guitar lesson with teacher. Is single true musician who lives and breathes music. Always have a chatty lesson, I enjoy it as find it a nice diversion from the stresses and strains of RL. And I probably seem overly friendly to him so maybe I am givin out the wrong signals.... But twice now he has hung around after the lesson chatting about various things and after about 30 mins I have thought where is this going? What do you think? He is wholly unsuitable before you ask. Without wishing to put a label on this at this stage if it were to progress (which it WOULD NOT) then bohemian sh** would be the label.

OP posts:
startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:37

Well Happy he defo sounds keen! Would he be at all suitable as an unsuitable fu*k buddy perchance??.

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:39

God, I'd love an unsuitable fu*k buddy............
