Dearly Be-Chucked, we are gathered here today because, for whatever reason, our man has dumped us!

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:44

Well not really suitable I don't think

I just can't imagine it really

But then I've never had a f* buddy and so the whole idea is slightly alien to me

OP posts:
IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:46

I think it would need to be someone who just completely swept me off my feet if I was going to do that (that would be nice actually) and that's not him

OP posts:
IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:48

I think I'm just too uptight. I need to take life less seriously.

OP posts:
IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:48

Maybe DJHappy is what he needs

OP posts:
startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:49

That sounds good, you didn't immediately shout NO WAY! You don't need to imagine it, just see if things progress in that direction & then see how you feel. The only thing you've to loose is your guitar instructer...........

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:51

The being swept of your feet is what lead to you being a dumpling!!!!!!!!!!! Swept off your feet = full on relationship. Are you ready for that? On the other hand a fu*k buddy is the complete opposite, very little emotional investment & providing their good in bed = maximum return

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:53

providing they are!!!! Not their!

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:53

That's true. Even my hairdresser has started kissing me on the lips. I certainly couldn't lose both of them.

Could end up tone deaf and grey

OP posts:
startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:55

Or you could have fab hair for free , services rendered both ways & all that.......

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 00:57

Must be the mating season as I've noticed myself checking out ALL my male friends recently to see would any fit the fb profile..........

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 00:57

OK, I'm taking your advice Starting .

I've been thinking that I'm no way ready for a relationship, but maybe just a bit of action could work? I'm really very boring so I guess that could be exciting. Problem is I'm always a bit all or nothing.

(Thank goodness I had my moustache done, made all the difference)

OP posts:
IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 02/05/2010 01:00

Maybe this is the mating season.

Perhaps rather than DJ night we need a mating evening where we post hot pictures and discuss ideas to make life a little more exciting?

Or maybe that's another thread...

OP posts:
startingovernow · 02/05/2010 01:01

I used to be a good old all or nothing Catholic girl. The problem is that when you find yourself in the middle of a serious drought you really have to change your way of thinking . I don't think I'd be all that interested in a relationship right now either but I can't say I'd say no if the right fb appeared on my doorstep! .........

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 01:04

Happy, I think you might be on to something.........I love the idea of a mating evening . Might even come up with good ideas on how we could actually find someone to mate with . Great, put thinking cap on........

ChairmumMiaowGoingItAlone · 02/05/2010 17:18

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 22:20

Dumplings it seems like we are entering a new chapter of our recovery. Here comes the fun..............yipee .

startingovernow · 02/05/2010 22:33

Chairmum, sorry to hear things are not going well for you atm. Seems like a good idea to go back to counsellor & gp. Your bound to be all over the place emotionally as it gets closer to your due date. You will get through this & you will be ok. Just be as kind to yourself as possible. Sending you hugs.

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 03/05/2010 19:17

So am I wrong to walk around the shopping centre listening to the many bands playing there today and dream that I am a rock chick?

Arrr, I can but dream

Enjoyed in particular listening to this ...

its a perfect day

Hope this doesn't upset anyone. Appreciate that it may jar a bit from a words perspective but I just love it anyway and to be honest I find it easier to imagine having fun without XH rather than with him. (Apologies again, hope this doesn't offend).

OP posts:
IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 03/05/2010 19:18

And before I pop off.

Mixed day for me today.

Coffee with friend, retail therapy worked well, home to vomiting DS .

How are you today Chair?
