Hi everyone

i just wanted to share a disturbing text I’ve received from a guy.

The date was planned for this Friday and I received the below by text out of nowhere…no previous sexual talk, just planning the date. Totally icked out and disturbed. Urgh!

Quick checkin: Are you behaving yourself or do I need to intervene?

OP posts:

Its a little flirty at worst, if that even!.
Im finding it hilarious that some on here are insinuating that this man is some sex crazed sadomasochistic lunatic because he asked a playful question.
If i could id strongly advise him to run for the hills!

Please don’t do that. OP has already ran for the hills and she doesn’t want to bump into him there.

My goodness what a load of prudes saying you don’t understand what this means. He’s sexting you. Well he wasn’t the response to lead to sexting, or getting the barriers down before your date. Just tell him you won’t be engaging in this you want to get to know him first. This is due to online data it’s very easy to go down that route.

Why? What trouble do you think he might be in?

I didn't realise there were so many pages and that you'd answered the question I'd asked already.

Hope you get some nice cake.

He was basically saying this:

Back of the net!

OP, if he turns up to the date wearing a shower curtain and electrical wire, plus pieces of digestive biscuits taped all over his face, all is forgiven. That, or his fetish is even worse than we fear...

The irony being, had he sent this exact image, the reaction would be have different.

Laugh a woman into bed and all that

Yes, because then he would have been making a joke, not being creepy. It's not rocket science. Or irony.

I know! Honestly some of these replies are literally insane!

I think some people watch too much TV/spend too much time on the internet.

It could literally mean anything depending on context. Sent to someone on a girls night out - are you drinking too much? Sent to someone at the grocery store - are you buying too many avocados again? Sent to someone meeting their difficult family - are you being polite? Sent to someone going to bed - are you going to scroll tiktok for hours?

But then he'd have said that when OP asked if the message was meant for her "oops sorry that was for my mate that's on a night out."

It could be innocent purely on its own but with the rest of the context and his reply to OP I'm positive it's a flirty message to another woman.

You got deleted earlier for telling women they're insane and must be damaged by trauma for clocking an unwanted sexual text.

(A shame, actually. I don't think your posts should have been deleted. They were a very good example of how people pretend to be oh so kind and concerned while they tell women they're insane, and how quickly they turn to rage when people see through it.)
