Been told ALL men sleep with prostitutes!

Hi. I was talkin to a friend, her friends husband (they have 2 girls) goes to thailand for a boys holiday and sleeps with prostititues, the wife also knows this! He was talking and saying all men sleep with them. I certanely don't think my DP does and he works in germany all week. This man is a sleeze and goes out with a group of sleezy men who you can imagine do the same thing but surely he is wrong saying that?!

I'd believe that all men at some point have slept with prostitues and that some married men sleep with prostitutes.

I used to believe that all men loved strip clubs till I tried to persuade DP to take me to one (I'm intrigued) and he's said he's not interested after going once cos your not allowed to touch them. lol

I have just asked DH and he says that is definitely not the case. He nly knows of one man who has used prostitutes - not a friend, an acquaintance.

yes this is what I thought but being an insecure person whose husband works away thought I had better check! I reaaly dont think he is the kind of man that would, dont even think he knows how to flirt anymore!!!

No, of course all men haven't slept with a prostitute. DH certainly hasn't and in fact turned down a lapdance as he was uncomfortable with it.

I can categorically say my XH never did - he did a lot of things and is a lot of things but sleeping with a prostitute he never did.

Now among my friends are both sex workers and clients of sex workers. But I certainly don't agree that all men pay for sex or have done at some stage in their lives: i have known plenty of men who wouldn't do it (some because they have wierd and rather unpleasant attitudes about 'real' men never paying for it, some because they are celibate, some because they are love fetishists (ie don't have sex unless in love).
If you have a partner who generally behaves in a monogamous fashion, says he loves you and is trustworthy, then trust him: he's not going to pay a sex worker just because he knows someone else who does. Men are individuals with individual standards and preferences, just like women.

I knew someone who regularly used a prostitute. He was middle-aged and disabled and had one regular prostitute that he went to for years. Eventually the sex stopped but they still remained very close, she sadly contracted Aids and he married her on her death bed.
