I think this is a cruel thread, sparked out of jealousy.
If you completely ignore the personality…
Superficially, we all have different tastes: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
For example, I worked as a model, all through my twenties, however, I kind of love a bit of a ‘beer belly’ (it makes for better cuddles!). I also LOVE beards, which lots of women hate (and yes, I do get beard-rash after kissing but I can live with that!)

You know what, I actually don’t know and I don’t care. I have my boyfriend. It’s him who actually says this man has a wandering eye.

I don’t actually go chatting to that man when I do end up at the same event/place, as I’m with my own friends.

My DH worked with a man briefly some years ago, who used to bang on about his 'beautiful wife,' how she looks like a model, how all the men fancied her, and 'keep yer hands off her mate, she's mine!' Grin DH was like 'er OK haha.'

Then a few weeks after the bloke said this, his wife popped to the workplace to drop something off for him, and it turned out that she looked like Olive Oyl from Popeye! DH was like Shock He was expecting to see Cindy Crawford from the way he has described her! (Google her Gen Z. Grin)

I’m a millennial and I know who Cindy is 🙂I suppose he wanted to speak highly of his wife because he respects her, which is nicer than taking the p!ss out of your wife like some men do.

I can understand your DH’s reaction though. It’s natural when you have a certain image in your head and then the reality is different….
